I was browsing around for a 64gb sd card as I need a couple and I bumped into the offer on mymemory.co.uk which is pretty decent by any means.

I just noticed that misread some of the info from the GoPro page with my last post.
Looking at the official Go Pro page, the highest video bitrate used by the Hero cameras including the Hero 5 is 60Mbit/s (megabits/second), not 60MB/s (megabytes/second).
Therefore 60Mbit/s = 60/8 = approx 7.5MB/s.
Therefore any Class 10 MicroSD card with 10MB/s or higher sequential write speeds should be fine including this Lexar card as it reaches around 20MB/s in the benchmarks that I've seen. If you want to record higher bit rate video eg. 30MB/s or above eg. OpenCamera on Android or pro modes on certain DSLR cameras, you'll need a faster Lexar card than this eg. Lexar 600X card.

45mbs is a no go for me. I'm not saying buy the most expensive card out there. But I've have a card with a low write speed and it was just hassle. Frame rate drops or the dam camera would stop recording.
if you can mange to get a card that has a write speed up to 90MB/s and a read speed of 95MB/s you bang on the money!

the speed of this card is too slow. even when looking on go pros site most of the cards recommended are 90/95 mbs.
The lexar card writes a 45 mbs. The link for the card even states you can use this card with go pros and up to 4k no way in hell.
