It's getting to the point where you should expect all new laptops to have SSDs. That should mean we'll see a few bargains with just a HDD; so with this one I'd :-
1. buy a SSD for £40;
2. image the existing C: drive to the SSD
3. swap existing HDD with SSD - check it works
4. replace optical drive with HDD drive caddy containing the original HDD drive (less than £10)

Yup we know, that's the point he was making :smiley: I just expanded upon it.

I think he was being sarcastic.
Like "you wrote that's correctly with the apostrophe while the rest is full of errors".

Great price for this spec. Yes the GPU isn't the best and it's not got SSD but for this price you can't have it all. Have some heat (late I know)

I bought this on the earlier deal, very pleased with it
"We will know that thats has truly gained its place when the pedants correct people not for using it but for spelling it with an apostrophe." :smiley:
Anyway I suppose I better say something about this laptop deal. Here is it, I'm not too fussed about this deal. Thats all folks.

I can't think of a sentence where I could use the word thats, that doesn't mean you can't, but maybe it's not actually a word just like whats isn't a word. Thats without an apostrophe would imply more than one that.
Anyway if there's any grammar gurus out there, give us a sentence using the word thats.

Don't waste money on this. Dreadful CPU and a discreet card that has similar performance to the integrated in the CPU.

IPS screen and space for an msata ssd drive would make it a good buy
