ive had some well packaged stuff from Tesco. But also some shocking packaging (Plastic bag). Its a lottery. They are very good at sorting out replacements if the box is damaged though (At the same price)

Does anyone know if Tesco boxes these big Lego sets for click and collect? I will be seriously unhappy if it's own box has been used for shipping to store... it will be trashed!

Great price, but I've heard this set is very slow as it only has one motor to run everything (which is a shame). Heat added though, not seen it this cheap ever!

big sets take up valuable shelf space, something like this has limited appeal compared to what sells at xmas

that's your extremely subjective opinion....I have been eyeing this set up for my son fir a year, he is obsessed with it. This is a great price, and an utter bargain for one of the most revered & highly rated Lego technical sets available.

I was up at 3am and could of posted 20+ tesco deals but thought this was one of the best! So only posted 1 deal. If i was hunting i would of posted the other deals! :-(
Anyway loads of great deals to be had guys. Lots of eol sets so could be last chance to buy some of this sets before ebay is the only option at silly prices.
The fireboat is a great deal if still in stock and the city square

That's a bit harsh on the OP, they have merely pointed out that this was a good deal at £145, now it's much cheaper again and therefore a much better deal.

Big size or not this is what the older kids need to keep them entertained as smaller sets too easy. Great price also on the merc truck which someone else posted the Volvo digger and the power functions pack!
