This isn't even technically refined either, the gearing is **** because they tried too hard with the paddle shifters, and the clicking whilst pushing, yuk. The suspension and steering are a step back too.
For the size, parts its okayish for this price, if you ignore the branding.

Had been toying with the idea overnight, asked Flubit, came back with nothing this morning, now it's up in price! :disappointed: any codes or anything to get this a bit lower, 100% buying it sub £150!!!!

Darn it, expired! Think I'll still bite at £174 with 25% John Lewis Staff discount, brings it down to £130!

Yeah, Lego always costs more for the amount of bricks if it's licenced whereas their in house designs don't have any royalties to pay. The F40 for example is ridiculously overpriced for what it is.
Managed to pick this up at Tesco yesterday with an extra 1000 club card points and a £5 voucher! Heat for the current deal though:D

Good spot. Heat added:)
Getting a little tired of the 'no rhyme or reason' behind LEGO's exclusivity and pricing structure tho. I got one yesterday coz it was such a good price at Tesco. However I already had one when 20% off at Smyths which was a great discount at the time, but now not so much compared to this reduction. Only solace is that I didn't pay £250. Is it a case of 'it is what it is' or is there a way of knowing at what tim in a sets lifespan it will drop significantly? Guess in this case stock was high for Chrimbo but it hasn't shifted as quickly as they'd like??

still a touch overpriced, but I agree it's a lot more reasonable than the frankly ridiculous rrp.
