May have been unlucky but have had poor service from Yankee Candles recently. Blank order update emails and ordered candles not shipped due to no stock even though order accepted and payment taken. Would rather purchase elsewhere.

My last order arrived on Friday 16th Dec. Order placed 3rd Dec. They had too many orders so were really behind. Werent in rush to let me know though. Very dissappointing communication and service.

I was in thorntons in Leigh at the weekend and they were all £9.99 for large xmas candles, I got macaroon treats and Christmas cookie for £19.98

check your local BM: they sell 538g for £8.99 ; peach , winter glow, stone cove, vanilla frosting and few others.

Yankee candles don't even smell these days, I would feel more confident buying a cheap candle from a boot sale...

I've heard M&S do nice candles that throw well, I'm planning on checking those out!
