Last year prices were definitely better, and I don't know if anyone noticed but this years quality street tubs are also 6g less.

6g difference in Quality Street was over shadowed by the differences kraft/cadbury made to Roses, miss 1990s Roses. At least Quality Street still come in metal tins.

I'm addicted to roses but just the almond one-unfortunately there's just one in the smaller pouches-might have 2 in these larger tubs

Depends where you live then by the looks of it. I did my shop last week and all the tubs were £4 in my Tesco so I could have got 2 for £8 so is 2 for £7 a week later worth the excitement? Not for me it's not, sorry.

It says a lot about the demographic of the site when deals saving £1 off yorkshire puddings or tubs of chocolates get so much heat :wink:

1) tescos have already posted tomorrows deals, and all can be seen via special offers than all special offers and than doing a page search for "tomorrow" on all pages

2) the offer price for celebrations tubs is listed as on tescos page £4 and is valid until the 27th, i dont see tescos replacing one deal with another deal, and less so without them posting the new deal in special offers the day before like that have will every other item going on sale tomorrow

i know its the hottest "deal" this week but cold from me. fed up with these so called tub deals every december. We all know that in a couple of days most of the big supermarkets will be doing exactly the same deals ( probably for 1p less ). Same as last Christmas and the one before that etc. nothing special here. IMO

I really want a great deal on Lindt Lindor Milk truffles. Not cheap but OMG, chocolate heaven.

After years of a tin of Roses and a tin of Quality Street being passed around the family on Christmas Day afternoon it will not be happening this year due to Quality Street now stating they may contain peanuts on the label and having a daughter with a very bad allergy to peanuts don't think its worth the risk last year it was After Eights that were knocked of the Christmas shopping list for the same reason :disappointed:

hate bloody tesco bought a tin of quality street and a tin of heroes only yesterday for £9 and they wouldn't even price match other stores at 2 for £8 unless I bought 10 qualifying items to compare. Now they are 2 for £7 wish I hadn/t opened them now.

just spoke to tesco now they scanned 2 tubs and both were now priced at £5 each . up from £4 per tub

Just went to Tesco & the 2 for £2-00 QS was on. But they said " The Two for £7-00 had been cancelled". Note cancelled.
