the only way I can see that you can use the vouchers is by buying another machine unless you know different but good deal anyway heat added

I have a latissima and honesty I preferred my old pixie and aeroccino. I only have milky drinks occasionally though. Given the choice I would probably give the U a go but my latissima works fine so I can't justify getting a new machine just yet. Maybe next year...

Just call them, they're open 24/7 and will trouble shoot with you first and if that fails they will arrange collection and loan machine. Question, did you let the machine run out of water? If you did then it creates an air lock.

All Nespresso machines 'theoretically' make the same quality coffee due to the heavily licensed interior brew system. The low end (cheaper) machines mainly differ in appearance. Amongst the higher end (expensive) machines, you do get some additional features such as extra buttons for different drink options, touch controls and of course built-in milk frothing capabilities.

No it's not punching through the capsules. ( real nespresso ones) It's still under warranty though so I'll send them an email.

I've got this machine and I'm not impressed. it's 4 months old and broken inside already.

Does water just drain down inside the machine?
I had that problem just after the warranty ended and fixed it myself but taking it apart.

go for the milk frother

I can't see how the coffee would be any different. Both use the same capsules and pressure. I would have thought the lattissima is better value, unless you already have a seperate milk frother and want a slimmer coffee machine

Can't decide whether to get this or the Lattissima. Both are £25 (after the nespresso vouchers) but the Lattissima comes with a milk frother.
Based on just the coffee itself, without the milk frothing, which machine makes a better cup of coffee?

I have both this machine and and the latissima.
I would say go for the latissima if you have the space.
The matte red of this one is nice, and it's better than the Krups model I had before, but seeing as the latissima works out the same price it's really a nobrainer to go for that one.

Identical or near identical coffee across all Nespresso machines. They all develop the same pressure and used the same capsules.
