This is replacing another kitsound Soundbar, the Chorus one. I had planned on upgrading to something more expensive but when i saw this reduced to £59.99 i thought it had to be worth a punt.

Mines still sitting in the Edinburgh depot, DPD usually mark things as out for delivery pretty early so not holding my breath for it being here today, especially given the time of year.

I don't think this has hdmi arc.

It's not listed in the device compatibility list for harmony remotes but that doesn't really matter as you can teach the harmonys that use the hub the commands from any IR remote anyway. I'll be able to tell you for sure on Monday when mine gets delivered.

Got mine today unexpectedly without any notification. Just installed it and seems fairly good. Its better than my 10 year old Sony Bravia Theatre stand which cost £1099 at the time :neutral_face:

Only thing bugging me is the remote, it does the job but is a bit naff, anyone know if kitsound can be used with a one4all or logitech harmony remote?

The Kitsound Hive 2 i ordered earlier will now have to go somewhere else ...........So thats 2 bluetooth speakers I've bought today that i've never had a need for before, so I'm now wondering will i ever use them in the future :confused:

Yep. All my stuff just arrived. Delivered by Interlink Express (not DPD, as previously advised by Kondor/Vodafone). They must have decided to use a different courier. I had ordered quite a few things: Air DAB radio, Contempo, Stadium 120, Jive DAB radio, Hive Evo speaker & camera case. All looks good. I hope other people start seeing their stuff shortly...

Gave them a call and the girl that answered said all the customer service people were in a meeting, took my details and said she'd get them to call me back. Don't really fancy contacting via ebay or email in case they end up just cancelling the order.

If it helps, I've had a "Despatched" confirmation for my bluetooth speaker, which I ordered last Saturday and was expecting 2 days ago.

Just got an email from DPD saying that they didn't receive my parcel from Kondor (and hence no delivery for me today). I think this means that the courier was booked but no parcel was ready for dispatch. Just have to wait I suppose...

It still says "More than 10 available" so they would have to make up some excuse. Was this a misprice maybe? I thought so at first but the £80 groupon deal for the same thing made me think otherwise.

Hmm....Kondor seems to be cropping up more and more in recent weeks. I ordered something from tesco direct and this was delviered by them using DPD. I was totally bemused at the time as had no idea who they were.

Bought 6 different things from various places at the same time as this soundbar, everything else has arrived but this and this is the only one that was supposed to be 'next day'.

If I'm honest i am slightly annoyed mine hasn't been sent yet. You shouldn't advertise next day delivery if you cant do it. There doesn't appear to be any note about Christmas delays on the item page either. If you can't fulfill next day delivery, don't say you can.

As well as the notice of dispatch from eBay, I have also received and email from 'Kondor Limited' saying my order will be dispatched via DPD and arrive on Thursday. As I've not knowingly ordered anything from 'Kondor Limited' I wondered if this is Vodafone by a different name?

I contacted them regarding a misunderstanding in my order and I was refunded with the instruction to reorder. By the time I was able to do so the items had doubled in price! Emails were not being answered and was getting similar automated responses. Used the number to phone as stated above. Was put through to their 'EBay Team'. It is one guy - Nathan! He has said there was a massive influx of orders over the weekend and a big backlog however as the automated response says they assure pre Christmas delivery. Nice guy - had me order at current full price and within minutes had refunded the difference. Has put my mind at rest.

Mine was due to arrive today, but I have not heard anything since I bought and paid for it on Saturday.

My stuff was just marked as dispatched today. Oddly, it also said it would arrive today!

Apparently they rarely respond to messages anyway and the best way to contact them is via phone, although i'm not sure where people are getting their number from.

Ordered at £59.99 before the price hike to £170 but I'll imagine it will drop again in the future.

I'm on a budget (you need to be on HUKD as there's always stuff you find yourself wanting/needing or didn't want) and this is my first sound bar but should be vast improvement on the inbuilt speakers on my projector. Fingers crossed that I can just route the audio using a 10m optical cable from my xbone for watching Netflix.

A soundbar can't compete with a surround system at all, the most it can do is throw out a fake "virtual surround". However a good soundbar or base should immensely improve the standard TV sound.

One of the photos here indicates it is (for the sound bar). One of the photos here indicates it is for the sub too.

Is the power lead detachable so I can swap for a long one?
