kitsound Radios are just the same as the cheap supermarket ones, nothing to justify the outrageous RRP. So don't think you are going to get a really good radio based on the original price.

I got one of these for £9.99 last year and think you's are all being to harsh on it, it's a DAB radio for a tenner and takes normal batteries ! This is litterally the cheapest portable DAB radio you can buy in the U.K.
Okay I can't comment how it is as a alarm clock ( have my phone for that ) and haven't bothered messing with the settings. But as a DAB it's perfectly fine, I use mine daily as a maintenance engineer at work ( basically the radio takes a fair amount of abuse ) , I use rechargeable AA batteries and the radio will last a shift at full volume ( 8hrs ) even though I'm in a massive steel building I still get signal in everywhere bar the odd one or 2 reinforced rooms.
I also bought the kitsound AIR for £20 last week and IMO if they were still selling for £20 them stretch to that as the sound is much better than the revive and it looks and feels more premium.

An alarm radio where you cant set the volume? Damn ridiculous..
I'd love a DAB alarm radio that doesn't look like some kit from the 80's and where the clock light does not light up the room. Can anyone recommend one?

Kitsound AIR from the Vodafone eBay store was £20 last week, brilliant sound for a cheap DAB and has a rechargeable battery that lasts 6hrs ( the battery is one out of a old smartphone ha, so replacement / spares should be easy to source )

I bought this also at 9.99 last year. It's a good wee radio for the price but the alarm volume increases to full and settings are tricky, so not good as a clock radio
