Here is the memory compatibility table for that board. It probably isnt ecc but the msi spec page is vague and the reviewer may have just copy/pasta that.

Thats a really good price for ddr4 ram. I was thinking of using it on a ASUS Z170-A Intel Skylake SLi/CrossFire ATX Motherboard - Black. I couldn't care less about there being no heat spreader or the colour of the board. Would this work ok with that board ?
