Just got another email from them. They apologise and offer 20% off as a gesture of goodwill. Ahh well ... can't win all the time.

Also cancelled and not surprised either. Definitely worth a try though.

item is out of stock online. i had a chat with elc for a stock check in local store. no luck! and orders for 7£ will not be released I got told without asking.
not sure if I buy of elc again with this kind of customer service.
