Just got a cancellation email.

Sadly, we regret to advise that we needed to cancel your order(s) ref ****** for the Hugo Boss watch you recently placed with us. Even though there were only a limited quantity of this watch available, we have been surprised by the level of demand and in view of this we have effectively exhausted our stock much quicker than anticipated, resulting in a small number of orders needing to be cancelled.

Added a 20% voucher in the email as a good will.

Seriously, even for £50 this is still an absolute rip-off and just look at the state of it... Yes it's Hugo Boss, but not even any effort gone into using roman numerals, no proper date (just day)... come on, hands up if you just squandered 'fitty notes' on this shambolic excuse of a watch.

I like Orient, one of only a handful of makers that produce their own movements in-house.
Got my Ray Raven for about £86. Seems hard to fine a Ray Raven I for sub £250 now...

Because people spending £50.00 on a watch are genuinely concerned about the origin of their movement...

Screw the majority of watch makers then, IWC is the only maker worth anything.

That 'fitty notes' is better off at home in your wallet than at this sorry excuse of an effort. Hugo Boss these days has turned into Paul Smith.... and everyone knows somebody at work who dresses in Paul Smith :wink:

good price but as a dress watch 42mm case is too big. this size is ok for chrono. I have a 7.25 inch wrist and this would be on the big side. max for me is 40mm. 2mm makes a big difference on watches.

if you have 6.5inch wrist or less it will look out of place.

Yes because both Citizen and Seiko are well respected Swiss brands???? Seriously. He misrepresented this watch as Swiss made, which it is not.

When corrected he promptly replies "Movado actually". So after a brief Google you know this American? Well done. So why on earth would you tell people it's Swiss? Then you start pipe up about a couple of totally unrelated Japanese brands...

This a £10 watch, with £40 worth of Boss on it. If Boss is your thing then bargain, what it ain't is Swiss made or high quality.

We're not worthy... One day we'll own A Citizen or Seiko like you!

Hugo Boss has another range which is clearly marked as Swiss Made at the 6pm point and are considerably more expensive.

Why would I buy a watch from somebody that makes underpants? You could buy equal quality for a couple of quid from the lucky lucky guy any day.

Don't even think this has a swiss movement, let alone being swiss made... which makes it about £45 over priced for what it is.

Its not on the dial so I wouldn't count on it. Looks distinctly like Fossil to me! But then again its £50, if Boss is your thing you can't go wrong.
