anyone who actually ordered this please check you were sent out the U062sa and not the U063na as the specs are the same but laptop retails £100 less on HP website and seemingly curry's know what they are doing after some research on laptop found this not same model but doing the same with this model
You see Curry’s/PC World Stores are selling a HP Pavilion 15-p189sa Laptop, but when you get this computer it’s not the one you bought of an Up to Date Laptop Computer. What you received is the … ... Than, Why is Curry’s/PC World Stores in England selling a computer when you actually get a different computer as you said that the above computers are different ???? Out of Date HP Pavilion 15-p189na Notebook !!!
... If the No Different than why is the name is Different of Laptop and Notebook Models ???? !!!!
... Isn’t this against the Trade Description Act of selling an older model computer for a new model (newer

I would recommend Lenovo Yoga 710 at John Lewis.

That's if you like to have a hair dryer fan fitted inside

Is it worth spending an extra £50 and getting this?
My understanding is that the x360 has changed massively in Nov. So it's not just the 7th gen processor that is different. The size and screen are huge changes to. It's basically a different laptop.

As its a 2 in 1 its a decent price but for the most part your probably better getting a proper laptop and separate tablet.

Owned one of these for close to a year and couldn't fault it for performance. Build quality is ok but not brilliant. The ash silver interior is dull looking.
My one gripe was the fan started surging on me at around the 11 month mark and it was very audible

Cheers Steve, it's good advice mate, I will have a check, but when your not up to speed with things and there's that many things that differ within a computer, sometimes the best way is to ask people who do know

Much appreciated on the update Taras. I will probably only do the odd bit of photoshopping, browsing internet and maybe football manager. I presume that the cpu will do enough for me to run these adequately.

on the mobile front little difference. the u processors are basically crap dual core ones even the i7 xxxu ones are dual core.
The only difference that you might find without looking at specific cpus' is that new gen ones may have a lower tdp thus have a longer battery life
*update looking at the two cpus on the two laptops, no differences in cores 2; threads 2; but updated graphics ..

What's the difference between the 6th and 7th gen processors?

The code XMAS10 gives 10% off so you can get if for 584. Extra ~84 is not too bad considering you get a processor and SSd upgrade IMHO

decent specs but that SSD is a dealbreaker

Is the 128gb not a reasonable amount of storage?

Well yes it's a small SSD but it's not a bad deal for the money although not a fan of 2 in 1 laptops personally.

I've never tried a 2 in 1 before, just thought the specs looked good. Can always buy an external hard drive for storage

That's £150 more than the deal I've posted, plus the voucher code does not work. Would it not be better to get an external hard drive with the deal I've posted?
