Advent calendar for Two at the Worcester HC shop is £7.80 down from £26!

I've been watching the Xmas Sleekster daily and this morning it has finally fallen to 50% off. I need it for a birthday next week (yes I'm that cheap giving discounted xmas chocs for bdays) so didn't want to risk waiting for 70% off being too late or oos when I noticed...if it does drop to 70% I'll buy another for me and it will just be like getting free postage with the extra discount
I had some of these over Xmas, first time I'd tried HC and they were really, really nice:
Not sure how to upload a photo but I managed to pick up the last advent for 2 truffle box at the Braehead store for £7.80, reduced from £26 giving me a total discount of 70% off! Likely a glitch as it's showing as £13 on the website. So worth checking your nearest stores
Voting cold - whilst the chocolate is good,
prices are no where near 50% off. 25%-30% max!!!

I used to love getting the Hotel Chocolat treats after Christmas; but the last two times they were awful! Not sure if that means we are going off them, or if they have started the inevitable decline in quality that goes with a big brand.

Likewise. Not sure whether it's declining quality or just plain boredom, but for me it's going the way of Thorntons.

Most of it still looks to be 30% off to me.

FYI folk...check your order when it comes as I had an item missing :disappointed: Phoned and a replacement on the way.

I'm possibly showing my ignorance now, but what's b&b chocolate?

Love Hotel Chocolat, but I always wait until they reduce further; 70% is rather more affordable!

I've frozen their chocolate before too - only from Christmas til Easter but it was absolutely fine

Not joking - I've done this for 2 years running. Just bought for Xmas 2017. They taste absolutely fine. I'd say their plain (no filling / frills) chocolate doesn't even need freezing and still tastes/looks great. I have Easter Eggs in storage for use in ~3 months time, bought in last year's sales...

I regularly buy the Large Cracker when it's 50% off, dis-assemble the cracker, freeze the chocolate, and put it all back together for the following Christmas.

Assuming you're not joking, do you let them defrost in fridge? How do they taste?

I got a mellow box for Christmas- was disappointed. I feel the quality has gone down. Won't be ordering again
