Man, you do it differently to me! I think that may be why our technique differs.:smirk:

I wouldn't buy underwear if it didn't feature the brand name on the waistband.
I suppose I'm of an age that Hollister markets towards to though. :P

Brilliant Find....

9 Dec 16#26
Anyone who has worn both tell me if these compare with the stupidly expensive yet brilliant Calvin klein boxers? I've tried a few different brands & they're never as comfortable & don't seem to last the years that the Calvin klein ones do.
However I'm sure there must be a cheaper version of them that are just as good available somewhere.

I have both, CK are just exceptional. I'm riding on almost 10 years for CK with lots of wear. I have the high rise hollister ones, they're incredibly comfortable for winters but they're getting bobbly from thigh rubbing - however, I don't think most people would suffer from this as much as I do.

Waistband in my Hollisters one lost its elasticity a lot quicker than Calvin Kleins.

9 Dec 16#39
Interesting - I actually did read about that problem with various active types but can 100% say it doesn't happen to me with the AEO ones. Fingers crossed for Hollister.

If there's any women ordering these, just stop and read this.
These boxers, like many I've seen at the minute, for reasons I've yet to understand, have no buttons or flap at the front. Now, that's not a problem for women, but think about this from a male point of view for a moment.
You're out and about, and you need to use a public toilet.
You don't enter a toilet stall, as they're generally very dirty and you just need to enter your bladder, so you come across the almighty urinal.
Now, it's socially acceptable in male toilets to stand and urinate. However, it is NOT socially acceptable to drop your pants and your boxers to stand and urinate.
No access = no thanks!
djbenny1 to kcajjones
9 Dec 164#36
Hey if you feel the need to drop your trousers and boxers to the floor at the urinal, that's your business.
I prefer to simply unfurl my colleague over the waistband - no biggy... I mean... real biggy...

9 Dec 16#35
What do you mean by slippery?
I have about 10 pairs of the American Eagle equivalent to the active ones, I actually just checked and the material make up is identical (88%, 12%) so I expect they're almost exactly the same.
The American Eagle ones are a bit slippery to the touch (relative to cotton of course) but they never, ever ride up my thighs and you can wave goodbye to the old swamp ass as well! Great news!

9 Dec 16#24
These are very comfortable but I found that (with the vast majority of boxers) they gradually ride up my ample thighs and by the end of the day they've become some kind of pseudo g-string.
As far as cotton boxers go though, they're hard to beat.
Edit. just noticed the comment about active ones above - and just bought 6 pairs of those.
Get the active ones folks, they're the ticket!
dark_shadow to djbenny1
9 Dec 16#28
I just hope they're not slippery - really hate the riding up the thighs. I squat competitively, my thighs aren't quite proportionately to my waist, hate having to readjust all the time!
They should be nice for summer if they fit well.
