Found in-store in edinburgh. I originally thought it was a multizone but it's the full kit( hub, receiver, thermostat)
I could only see two others and they were both heating only.
No idea if its national deal add it's still £139 online.
Happy hunting.

No timer req. A receiver gets wired in, in place of a room stat then Hive works as stat/timer. I work for BG so dont decide on labour rates im affraid.

How much would you normally charge for labour, would just like an idea if that's ok, and also does your boiler need to have a timer fitted for it to work? Thanks

Look at the hive website. Controls heating, water, lights, sockets. Also can link to door/ window contacts and motion sensors. Can use recipes to cont multi functions. I use and think it's brilliant although I don't use Echo etc.

Got this through work just before xmas, its ok. It has a major bug that as soon as as you give it a command (via echo or home-assistant) it breaks out of the schedule. Its been known about for a while and is still awaiting a fix. Wished i went with the nest it seems to be alot more supported.

We have this at home. I bought the version with installation so had someone fit it for us, but seemed pretty straight forward. Best thing for us was we previously had no wired thermostat, so had to programme the timer for the boiler directly by going to the boiler. This, not needing wires directly to the boiler, can be fitted anywhere.
I have it connected to my Amazon Dot.
Never had a connection problem in over a year of using it.

I don't currently have a thermostat. I just have a plate on the front of my Worcester boiler that lets me do some basic programming and turn it on and off.
How do you know if this is compatible? How easy is it to install?

Yep this will be fine but you'll need to wire the receiver into the boiler so should have somebody gas safe registered to do it for you.

Any Hive users out there please: we have a Hive system left by the previous homeowner and he gave us his authority in writing to use the old system and provided the login details for us as well as all the components - thermostat, wall unit and hub. Hive were useless and tried to make us buy another hub, but I managed to get in using the previous owner's info and it worked fine for a couple of weeks before completely stopping - I assume Hive broke it on purpose. Anyone know if we can reset the old unit somehow (ring them and ask politely) or will we have to buy a new system like this? Or should I rip it out and install Nest? It still works now as wall unit without the hub manually.

I have Hive and absolutely love it - works very simply with my iPhone and i am able to turn the hot water and heating on from work when i know what time i am finishing, and as i have a plug as well i can even put on my electric blanket and hour before i finish my night-shift - toasty!
I would recommend Hive to everyone, my next step is to buy the colour changing bulbs, great idea!

I have a Hive and thinking of getting an Echo - so how does the integration function operate, can you say 'Hive - boost water for one hour' and can you ask for the current central heating 'stat setting and actual temperature ? - thanks

Great find easy to fit just the same 6 wires from your programmer not rocket science lol
Some programmers have same base so no wiring to do
Think using this dual channel one for heating only would be possible
But would have to work out internal connections of relays in controller with AVO
As single channel has 2 way switch ie common with 2 poles ,2 channel does not show common connection

There are two types, combi boiler is a single channel switching just central heating as water is heated on demand. The gravity fed version is dual channel for central heating and hot water.
