I've been keeping an eye on this television since missing out on the amazon price of £650.
This is the cheapest i've seen it since with AO.com, last time I looked it was £750.
It can be had from Richersounds/John Lewis for £700 but some may prefer the cheaper price or like me not have the store locally.
Ensure you use code 50MEGA for this price.

Plus one waiting for boxing day. Funny how us human being brain work. Don't wanna jump now and the prices drops even lower or a better tv deal comes up.

I phoned AO to ask about returns, they said "If it is left boxed, you get a full refund. If unboxed they retain 45% of your money as a 'restocking' fee".
I'd suggest people wait to order from John Lewis or Richer Sounds, since you get a 5 year warranty with them as well.
Now just to sit back and wait for the 65" to drop to £700...

That was 8-bit K5510. This is M7000 which is true 10-bit.

I have this exact tv, its pretty much the best value good TV you can buy at the minute IMO. Really impressive build quality and amazing picture. Rated very highly on avforums too - theres a review on youtube for the 65 inch m7000, and they agree how amazing it is for the money.
Hisense don't have the big brand name yet, but they are Samsung beaters at almost double the price.

This is 8 bit with dithering. No idea what that means but have seen so many people posting it on here!

M7000 is HDR (10-bit) from what I can see, but it's still only 400 nit brightness which negates the HDR effect IMO. Wake me up when they launch their 1000 nit models.
I'd also definitely pay the extra £40 from JL for a warranty on this brand given lack of track record.

As above the 65" of this is currently £1300 so i'd be very surprised to see it drop considerably.
I'm planning on keeping my eyes peeled for any reductions up to boxing day and if this doesn't reduce i'll bite the bullet at £659.
The AVForums owners thread is an interesting read for those interested in going for the M7000.
I've had this for a few months now. Paid £750 from JL. It's a great TV. For the price it's the best value. You could probably get slightly better pictures but would code you a grand more.

That's good to hear, I was tempted at £750 but saw it reduced yesterday so thought it was a good time to post the deal. Fingers crossed for a boxing day sale to get it under £700 from JL.
Normally I'm mad when I see deals posted for stuff I've bought previously but this time I couldn't care less. I've enjoyed it for the last few months and happy I paid extra at the time! That shows how much I love this TV.
Hopefully it's sub £700 in January although if you bought for £750 you wouldn't care about the extra £50. This TV should be priced at the £1000 mark.

Yes exactly as long as you're happy with it that's fine, televisions unfortunately fall victim of the type of product that can be reduced quite quickly as new models are released. But £50 difference then to now is nothing to be disappointed about. Glad to hear your positive feedback on this specific television.

I had it in my amazon basket when it was £650 but didn't commit as I couldn't measure if it would fit on my television stand, typical I then missed out!

By it from John Lewis. Their price match lasts for 28 days so if it's cheaper on boxing day, you get the difference back!

I got this from Amazon. Having compared it with the Samsung Ks7000 I'm so glad I opted to save £300 and put it towards a ps4 pro. Picture quality is pretty much identical but this smashed the plastic Samsung in terms of build quality

Spot on bought a oled from jl,and they price matched a rival and refunded a few weeks later when another rival had it even cheaper. They also don't deduct 45% if you send a TV back. That coupled with lack of decent warranty would make me avoid ao.com even for sake of 40/50 quid.

LOL, is that true?? Someone should tell them they are breaking the law if that's their policy. Bang out of order and in total breach of the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Wouldn't go near AO if they honestly treat their customers with such utter contempt... might as well buy a TV from ISIS (if they sold them, which they don't obviously).

I thought I was wrong for a second and was getting confused with Very, but looks like I wasn't.
"If the product has been used, you’ll only be eligible for a partial refund"
Assuming I wasn't getting confused with Very, then they'll only state over the phone that you only get 55% back of what you paid.

Don't understand how people can complain about a restocking fee if the item is unboxed and tested.
They are a business not a charity, why should they let people test an item out first, and then be expected to give a full refund when they get a 2nd hand item back.
Those saying g they are breaking the law are talking total and utter rubbish

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have the right to return your order up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
Indeed you do, which ao allow as long as the item is unused. But this doesn't apply to if you have used the item, In which case they can reduce the refund.
So they are operating perfectly within the law
Very temping, go for this or hold out for a sub £900 65''

Just bought this TV from AO for a total of £589.99 (excluding cashback). They price matched Crampton and Moore. I ordered and paid online whilst on the phone with sales agent so I could get 5.5% cashback with topcashback (not acknowledged yet, may take a few months- theoretically another £32 off the £589.99 if honoured). Paid full price online then I was transferred to customer services who refunded me the price match difference and AO £40 off voucher code (GET40).
Should be delivered tomorrow!

I've been using this TV for about a week now and all I can say from my experience is that it has not let me down in terms of quality - everything from the build to the picture. The apps are pretty basic and still trying to figure out if it can actually stream 4K on the native YouTube app as it appears to be 2K upscaled at best. A minor inconvenience for my use as I know I can plug in a media player/ Chromecast ultra and get 4K if I needed it later. However, when I played a short downloaded sample 4K clip it really brought out the true capabilities of this TV! The HDR mode works really well on the limited content that exists at the moment. HD channels work well too. Sound is great once you tweak it slightly. I bought a stand with a Vesa mount for this TV as the legs were too wide for my old stand (this is something to bear in mind of course). I went for this one:
Very sturdy stand and saves a lot of space compared to a traditional stand.
For me, I wanted a TV that would see me through a good few years and still be compatible/future proof and this TV ticked the boxes. For the £589 I paid (got lucky with the price matching), I'm definitely not regretting it! Have a look at the AV forums YouTube video for the 65" version as it is quite a decent review. This is no OLED but if you want bang for buck this will not disappoint!

Good you are enjoying it. How did you get it for 589 ? Or 598 ?. Lack of app is not a problem as that can be sort with android TV box like himedia q5pro or nvidia shield.

They price matched Crampton and Moore when they were selling for £629 last week and I used the £40 off discount code. Still waiting for topcashback to track.
