John Lewis now have the Hisense 65K5510 in stock and will price match with Crampton & Moore(£720). It was out of stock at JL a few days ago so they wouldn't price match.
I cancelled my ao.com order and decided £50 extra was worth it for a 5 year guarantee vs the standard 2 year offer.
I am really enjoying mine. Had to buy hdmi 2.0 cables though as all mine were 2012 1.4 cables.

You know there is no such thing. it's the HDMI port that's 2.0 or 1.4 etc the cables are either, high speed, high speed with Ethernet, etc...

How would the picture on this compare to my Samsung 55inch Plasma when in HD and normal Single definition .
Is it worth changing

Just received my 2nd Samsung 65KS8000 which I will try tomorrow. Sent first one back for banding when watching football. If this one has the same I might be tempted by this set. Save over £1000 too

For those of you who have one of these, have you tried a PS4 pro on it at all?
I've a Samsung 55" 6400 series TV at the minute and with a firmware update I can run HDR content but it looks worse with HDR on which I think is a limitation of the TV being only 8bit.
I'm really tempted by this TV but wouldn't mind any opinions on PS4 pro HDR quality first.
Many thanks

so I guess it's true a lot of people buying HDR TV's for the pro and 1s and not being able to use them properly. supposedly the tv has to be 10bit or they aren't able to use them properly according to forums. I'd be seriously miffed.

In my case, because I've never dealt with JL on price match before I submitted a match online and by phone at the weekend - wondered whether one might be quicker than the other. Online response came through on Monday - no match JL out of stock. Thought they'd forgotten about the phone price match ... late Tuesday afternoon got a call offering a match at £720(original phone match had been £715) ... paid over the phone £720 total, no refunds involved.

Was going to order this but no Freesat HD, was hoping to one day do away with sky, my freeview Ariel is none existent..
Any ideas?
Had to edit this: still can't believe no freesat HD on a tv of this calibre..
Another edit: it get worst, I really wanted this tv. :disappointed:
Just read this..
Despite having a proper satellite connector and satellite tuner built-in it shockingly doesn't support Freesat and due to licensing issues cannot show the EPG guide information. You can view the channels but won't actually know what's on TV and also won't be able to record programmes due to total lack of EPG info. This is not a small issue and made the TV unusable

Many thanks. Bought. Still in stock on both sites. Just to be safe, I rang this number 03456049049 (press 1 for tvs), spoke to an advisor who confirmed price match, took payment and arranged delivery
