Does anyone know of a retailer that actually stocks/displays Hisense TV's?

Buy and return if your unhappy with purchase. I was skeptical too, i didn't think I would be impressed at all especially because it's a relatively unknown brand in UK & I i'm used to having Samsung Tv's. But now i'm so glad I didn't spend a few hundred more for the same spec of TV just because it had Samsung or LG badge on it.

4k60 looks amazing on this TV. The gaming mode gives a ~20ms lag aprx which is not noticeable at all.
Even the upscaling from 1080p or 720p looks great.

What's the downside to gaming mode? Why isn't it always on?

Wondering if 4k TV can be effective as a pc monitor?

sure can - though you'll need HDMI 2.0 and check that your system can drive 4k at 60hz. gaming performance at that resolution is tough, though you can always set it to a lower resolution of course. I use a 40" one of these for my office, and it's tremendous, but I can't comment on gaming concerns such as input lag and response times. Don't bother if you can only get 30hz out of your system though, it's horrible.

consumer goods act covers you for purchases made after 1st Oct 2015 (Sales of Goods act covers for purchases pre 1st Oct 2015 ). Although extra extended warranty is always good to have if it's included without additional charge. You could have sent your tv back for free repair/exchange as it did not last for a reasonable length of time.

Got mine 2 weeks now. Excellent for the money. Picture is amazing. Small objects passing across screen fast like a bird or a football is blurry though

Do you copy and paste this on every TV post? Absolute Muppet!
Strongly advise getting from Richer with warranty as our last TV repair cost £168 after owning for 20 months and that was a Samsung.

Will this make a difference on content that doesn't have HDR as it's source? Or do you need good HDR source to appreciate/see the difference?
This HDR stuff is the only reason I haven't bought this yet

Got it delivered Tuesday from Richersounds £420 with 6 years warranty, as wouldn't buy a tv without warranty.
Cracking TV, fantastic picture and has had an HDR update now. Buy it !

Whenever I've been to Richer sounds they never have Hisense on display as theyre so popular theyre all sold as soon as theyre in stock.
Heat! Its a fab deal. Bought this last week for same price & really cannot believe how good the picture and all round quality is.
After a bit of pre-purchase research I discovered its quite a popular brand of tv outside of the UK & looks like their just branching into the UK. Reviews looked good + fab price so decided to buy. Turned out to be a fab deal.
