From Saturday 10th December until Sunday 1st January all tickets half price at the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay. Great day out for the kids to keep them occupied as they seem to be finishing very early for Christmas this year.
They are open every day over the holidays from 9.30 until 3.30 except Christmas day. They have lots of shows and talks and you genuinely feel close to the animals. They also have a lemur walk but this is only open at weekends this time of year

£12.10 Adults
£9.10 Children aged 3 to 15
£38.10 Family of 4
£10.70 Seniors
£9.10 Student with NUS card

This is only about an hour from me, might give it a try! Is the discounted rate available on the day or do you need to book in advance? can't find any mention of it on their website

I don't think you can book online (No facility to) so just turn up on the day - I got all the info from their facebook page :smiley:
