I expect it to be voted cold by all the non motorists but I needed to replace a headlight bulb, and looking around saw the cheapest at £5. I went into Tesco and it's labelled 'New product' and not available online yet. It's a twin pack, H7 headlight bulb pack. I believe H14 is available to at the same price. At this price I bought two packs.. spares for the spares.

It's an MOT fail/nightmare if you retrofit. It's a requirement for HID fitted vehicles to have headlamp washers and self levelling headlamps or suspension, there are a few cars manufactured before the legislation without these features though. The legislation was bought in ages ago, thankfully amended from when introduced to N.Ireland when some vehicle owners were forced to remove factory fitted HIDs at great expense as manufacturers hadn't fitted washers etc.

Please don't be another bell-end driving round with these in the wrong housing blinding everyone, about time the law changed to impound and crush any car using them without the necessary car modifications to make them road legal.
Cheap ones are around 1.20/1.50 each but don't last long and very yellowish light
If u go osram or Philips set for around £10/20 for set they make light very white

I don't like Halfords at all. Only went in coz nowhere local had a bulb. Needless to say I saved my money & still have a headlamp outoO

You walk past HALFRAUDS and they tell you your shoes have failed the MOT because a freyed shoe lace. My local Tesco had these on offer but still a great price HEAT
Maybe the non-car drivers are the morons walking round wearing dark clothing on dark nights running in between cars?

I'm posting here so i can enter the competition only 350 more post's to go ......., I go for the very cheap one's of ebay and buy in packs of ten i'v had them ages and still have 9 left it is still bright and lights the road up at night. I would never buy the rip off one's Osram or Philips ... just saying

Been posted before. You can get cheaper from carparts4less, with free delivery.
Not good value as they go dim very quickly, had some generic ones in for about 3 months and the bulbs had turned black. I go for Osram or Philips now, they last about 4 times longer, don't go dim and cost 3-4 times more so often you save money when the offers pop up here.
