Doesn't matter really, if they sell it at £12 and make a profit then it shows that it's still overpriced at £15

I agree with Matty G I wouldn't rush out to buy at £15 I'm sure you'll get better deals as Christmas approaches I got two bottle of grants sherry and beer cask last christmas doubt I would paid £15 a bottle for them I sure was about £12.50 each, so will hang fire on this one.

It's called hot deals for a reason, not cheapestprice.com
If people have to vote hot simply because it's the cheapest price then the site becomes pointless

a bit like your comments. lol. clearly plenty of people disagree with you and your warped sense of economics or indeed simple supply and demand economics. simple being the critical word here.

11 Dec 16#16
if it can be found cheaper. please post a link for others to take advantage of. simples
I see you are an expert on this sort of subject. pmsl

You're obviously a bit dense, I never said it was cheaper elsewhere which is the point I'm making which you can't understand
This can best be described as council scotch, but each to their own
There's nothing warped about saying this is not a hot deal

A post from 10 months ago? Stalker...
You're obviously a bit upset because I don't agree your council scotch is a good deal, bit sad really

and you are clearly a Hippocrate. and a bit of a stupid one at that.

What's a hippocrate? I think you mean hypocrite, and you call me stupid?
The fact you keep on posting lol shows your level of intelligence, enjoy your council scotch.
I wouldn't have posted my opinion if I knew you were going to get so upset, some people take this site far too personally!

the only thing that's sad here is you. oh and a hypocritical one at that. lol.

funny how this post has got hotter than many of yours. I think you have been drinking too much of the "deals" you post.
roblatus
11 Dec 16#23
for the record. I have not claimed to be an expert on whisky. what I do know is that this cannot be found cheaper at the moment therefore this may be of some use to someone. clearly many feel this is a good price. what I find odd is that someone would criticise something without being able to provide a suitably better deal at the moment. When the same person clearly has a history of posting "deals" that's aren't so good themselves they can only be described as a bit thick imho. I guess I should keep an eye out for a deal on petrol at £1 a litre, then comment that it's not as cheap as it was 10 years ago. this would be just as stupid as MattyGr commenting here.
roblatus
11 Dec 16#25
you really don't get how stupid you are do you. you are commenting on something yet have done exactly the same when posting deals yourself. calling something "council" clearly shows where your views originate from. spelling has nothing to do with it, but that's all you can do to deflect the focus from your own stupidity and clear lack of intelligence.

11 Dec 16#31
considering this is my first and only deal. that's some achievement by you isn't it. lol. many of your deals are on a par with the one I have posted. but you chose to single this one out for abuse. lol. Double standards that you just do not understand do you?

nah, its way too much fun watching double standard replies from thick people. lol
no problem with an opinion, its just the double standards and a lack of a better deal being produced that i find a bit stupid. still waiting for one.

Can honestly say I've never seen anyone get so upset over a whisky deal, I'm out!
For a better deal - it's quite simple, search whisky and see which deals are hotter.

you still don't understand do you?? lol
its your DOUBLE STANDARDS i have issue with along with your inability to provide a better deal for this product. Indeed if you had have done so, i would have removed this one immediately. But you couldn't back up your comment with evidence of a better deal, and indeed have posted far worse deals yourself. ffs how thick can one person be???????. I am seriously concerned that you are not actually of a legal age to drink alcohol. ROFLMAO

This is pretty vile, spend £5 more to get an aged malt whisky such as Glen Moray, which far exceeds this. Chivas 12, Ballantines and Famous Grouse are decent blends, Grouse is £15 a litre in Sainsburys which is great value. Chivas 12 is £20 @ Amazon.
Ardmore or Singleton are £20 at Amazon.
This tasted harsh and chemically but luckily I paid less than it is on offer for now. It's not widely available, even Amazon don't stock it which speaks volumes.
