Worth noting that spending an extra £10 will get you $8,000,000 online dollars, which would cost £64.99 separately or easily take a good 20+ hours to earn through normal play. Well worth it if you're planning on spending some time with the online side of the game

Cheers, that wasn't live when I posted, it's currently £31.16 for £35 top up from Press Start. CDKeys are OOS unfortunately.

Pretty unimpressive deal for a digital copy of 2 year old game.

I would say it's a great price for probably the greatest video game ever made.
And yes I did just say that, and yes I meant it, and no I'm not sorry.

is the meglodon card really worth it? planning on online but not sure if I'd really need 8mil? not played online before

The main thing to consider is that it's a one-time deal. If you pay £25 for the vanilla version now and later decide that you want the cash, it'll cost you an arm and a leg. I'd say the extra £10 outlay up front is worth it

Definitely worth it. You'll need more than 8 million. Cheapest Yacht is around 7 million. New Import / Export update, prices are expensive. Some vehicles 2million each.

Well worth it for just the $8million if you get the £35 megalodon version.
Got physical version myself but wanted some GTA dollars so may as well sell the physical and get the $8million version with the digital game. Can sell the physical copy. Means I get £65 worth of dollars and a digital game for around £15.

It's 71gb, I just deleted the disc version and now it's a waiting game. 9 hours to go.

Blimey. It's a good game but it's not even the best GTA game!

I stand by my original comment. IMHO it is an incredibly well made piece of software and probably the best game ever made (and I have played a lot of games in my time).

Fair do's! I like someone who gives a bold opinion and/or statement and is happy to stick with it. I did like GTA 5 a lot and had many hours with it, but it just didn't give me the wow factor that Vice City (especially) and San Andreas gave me personally.

You see I disagree with most people in that I never particularly liked San Andreas or felt that it was anything special. I do have a special place in my heart for Vice City though.

ah I remember buying digital coming from physical. It takes forever to download, I thought it would be a quick thing and just treat the licence thing and go but no it's not.

Advice welcome...
I'm late to the PS4 / GTA V party. Mates are well ahead of me yet we're planning some big sessions online in the new year, mainly heists from what they're telling me.
I have an unopened physical copy of GTA V with the $2.5m inside waiting to use when I hit the UK (in a few days).
This £35 megalodon looks a DEAL and It seems I will want some in game $$$ to get up to speed/fully enjoy the game (everyone wants a pimped classic car right.)
I have £8 on my PS account currently.
Should I buy some more PS credit and snap this deal up? If so, will I miss out on anything by having the digital download of the game (I'm in Malta but with a UK PSS account). I bought the physical copy from shopto (not sure they do returns).
Could even be value just selling the physical copy to CEX, taking the hit knowing these in game $$ are a bargain.
Apologies for the waffle, as I say, newb to this....been rinsing my 360 for far too long

I think circa £17 for the Canadian download is the best I've seen to date. Must bite when next it drops.

These things are subjective, but I kinda struggled with the three main characters being thoroughly unlikeable. People continually heap praise on GTA's supposedly-mature, "Oscar-worthy" stories, but I don't get it.
Meanwhile, there's Yakuza. Now there's a series that knows how to pitch a flawed hero. Or four of them, in the case of Yakuza 4.

It's more about the online in GTA5, I did really enjoy the story though.
The online has loads of content and you can earn millions of GTA dollars just playing it, heists earn you a lot or when they have the double GTA +RP points specials (which they have all over Christmas). If you have a few friends who play GTA buy a business and get making that money.

Are you able to sell the Megalodon Shark Cash Card? As i'm not interested in-game money.
