This seat only goes rear facing to 13kg approx 1 year old same as a the little infant carrier baby seats.
The joie stages and everystage seats are a similar style but have the option of using rear facing (x5 LESS force on the child in an impact) up to 18kg approx 4 years and can be used forward facing from approx age 1 until 7 years (stages) or 12 years (everystage). Though I wouldn't expect the fabric to last well on any seat for 12 years :wink:
Keeps your options open for a little more money, if buy the graco milestones for an infant and decide you don't want to turn them around at 13kg you would have to buy a different seat.

it can be a bit awkward to fit. but if you plan on keeping it in the car it's fine. Bargain at this price
