I managed to get one via flubiting the argos url for the Chromecast when it was £20 and effectively got the delivery free from the flubit discount. Admittedly the JL deal was better for the 2 year warranty, albeit very fleeting. Thing is there is absolutely no mention whatsoever on the outer packaging of mine about the offer, could I have gotten an old one that doesn't have it or is this normal?
The second thing is I already have a Chromecast registered to my Google account from an earlier Wuaki deal, will I be ok to register another one or could it make me ineligible for the Netflix deal? Planning on selling one as I don't really need two so would I be better off resetting the old one first and removing it from my account (if you can) before registering the new one?
Finally, could anyone advise how the 3 months scales to the higher UHD tier of Netflix e.g. do you get two months instead of three?
I currently subscribe to Netflix on the UHD tier as I have a 4K set and it is one of the few sources of UHD material. Can anyone confirm if it scales ok to the UHD tier? as I don't really want to drop to HD since UHD content was the main reason I subbed in the first place....
