I'm looking out for a Gibson SG standard. I believe this one to be a 2015 model with the silly auto tuner things but this price seems a bit too good to be true? maybe. Not sure about the Amazon seller, Herzallerliebst Baby- & Geschenkeboutique.
Anyway if true seems a good deal. I'm only passing because of the doubt over the deal and not keen on the colour, which of course is very important...

Seems this company's Amazon Marketplace has been hacked. I have an order outstanding and I cannot get in tough with the seller as I get this reply from Amazon.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER Herzallerliebst Baby- & Geschenkeboutique
This is a fake company. I have just been done over £900 for a Les Paul advertised on Amazon Marketplace. Automatic Email response saying 'Shut down due to hack' no response. Goods at crazy cheap prices, too good to be true.
PLEASE DONT BE A FOOL LIKE ME. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

True Re then slipping strings I used a Mustang bridge on my Jag and it's golden. I've to many guitars and these are the easiest of all to play.

Grab a Squire Jag or Mustang great price and build but also Short Scale for the beginners hands, or my fat ones!

Also hours of fun trying to keep it in tune and stopping the strings popping off the bridge (depending on bridge) I'd never suggest one to a beginner, though they are nice guitars.
For someone starting out you want reliable, cheap and playable out of the box

I only buy my guitars from proper music stores. I walk in, pay for it, and proceed to smash it up in front of the staff before thanking them and walking out. It's just a hobby.

My first ever guitar was a Yamaha Pacifica so I can definitely recommend too

I'd say a squier is always going to be a decent guitar for the money.
Last Christmas I bought my daughter a used squier telecaster (vintage modified) really good guitar.
The Harley Benton range on thomann are also really good budget guitars.
The Yamaha are always decent, I do find them bland myself but their quality control will always be reliable.

+1 for the Pacifica. Although I own a Squier Affinity Telecaster, and it plays GREAT.
Depends how cheap you want, but these are highly regarded.

I have a 2015 LP junior, probably my most played guitar, love the auto tuners, and the nut has been no problem at all.
I also own 2 Gibson Les Paul's, an SG, explorer, strat and a duo sonic. So it's not like the junior was best I could afford, it really is a great guitar and gets played more than the rest put together.

The seller has onlt 5 feedback, and 1700 items in stock all of them appear to be high value £500 + items, v v v dodgy I'd say.

Well in my opinion a 2015 model is scrap value. They are basically prototypes

2015 model. Not worth anything really. The nuts give up and it's not a easy replacement as the neck is thicker

It uses a zero-fret adjustable brass nut and it's just a drop in replacement.

Lol clearly worth it at that price

I noticed this morning a whole load of silly misprices on Gibson guitars, many have since disappeared. But there was a Heritage Cherry Burst 2016 LP Traditional up for £399 and a Cherry ES-335 for £841.
If you can get a good SG standard that isn't a returned and resold guitar at this price then it is a bargain.
