I think you can, I seen the options in the menu when I paused game but never actually tried it myself. I played on normal and wasnt very challenging

It can be fun if you get players like me. I'm not cheap. I don't spawn trap, I will go face to face whenever I can, never ever tbag, if its 5v1 I will not search out that single player - there are so many things I see online I don't blame you. Infact my bio begins "proud not to be a gamer".

The digital version is currently on offer for £27.13 but not sure if you get the Xbox 360 Gears of War collection as part of this or is it only by buying a physical copy?

I bought it digital when it was £25, I got a message from Xbox live with the codes for the old games. Even though I had got these already with the remastered 1st game :innocent:

Be aware the audio in this game is terrible...cannot hear enemies behind you.
This only encourages those that play cheap and get their kills from behind.

For the life of me, cannot understand the attraction of online play, l`m addicted to Real Racing 3, every now and again plays the online version, and by God, do they cheat! they run you over, no intent of racing fairly, no matter the level, there is always one cheat, and now the car giveaway is neigh impossible to win without upgrading and not for money but the

Only the first one has been remastered - you're stuck with the original 360 versions for 2, 3 and Judgment. Not really, that's why it was/is a huge selling point for the Xbox 360/One. The original game and now this game (4) are also available on PC but I've always thought they felt more at home on the Xbox. Not sure if you get the 360 games with the digital version but you will also get the PC version included with it.

also, is there an expiry on when the original 4 games can be redeemed by?
can difficulty be dropped down mid-campaign? I've assumed that GOW dont allow this and I cba starting a new campaign. Its with heavy heart that I'd drop the difficulty, never did that on the original games, but then again they had better level design so death rarely felt so cheap as it does on this game

You can play online against casual bots if you like. Beware though that a round of Warzone takes about 40 seconds!

But the campaign itself, what have the Coalition done?? I've waited about 3 years for this game and the first 90 minutes has been a trudge around what feels like a sort of robot themed park using peashooter weapons. I've give up at the introduction of the fabricator. The bit where 2 of you are on a raising circular platform section where the heebie jeebie deebies come out of doors 2 at a time. Is there any strategy to this section? As I keep just getting killed (on hardcore setting) by the fourth wave of deebies every time I go near fabricator machine for more ammo. Incredibly disappointed so far though I've yet to try horde.

The campaign gets a lot better, maybe drop the difficulty down to normal and give it another shot. Not an amazing campaign by any means but plenty of fun moments in there.
Horde seems pretty good from what I've played so far but I'm not going to bother with the multiplayer as I'll just get demolished.

I got recently from Shop To for similar price just under £21...well worth it if get the free GOW 360 collection also. I have sort of avoided online multiplayer for years but got back into it with GOW4. Honestly this game plus live and I probably wont need to buy anything else for 12 months.

Gears Of War is a fantastic series, the originals are definitely worth a replay, I've been enjoying going through the old games. I've heard very good things about GOW4, tempted to pick it up.

This is a good deal where you get the original 360 gears of war collection, but after watching the comparison video of how the originals look in the remastered edition, don't think I'll be able to play the originals :smiley: grainger games is selling the gow ultimate edition for £7.99 preowned at the moment :innocent: never got round to playing the originals on the 360 properly, plus I got a xbox one s when I signed up for the sky black friday deals...might get the ultimate edition and play the games finally :laughing:
