Interestingly it seems to work on my account despite me not receiving the email. Would like to make use of it but don't want to spend a great deal. Any decent games around the £10 mark on Tesco Direct, closest I seen so far is Batman Arkham Knight at £13 but gather it's a bit meh...

I received the same code for one of my accounts.
Tried it on the account that it didn't get sent to and it didn't work.
So looks like it's working on the accounts that have been selected to receive it via email.
