We've got a Zetec S Black Edition we had it delivered last month. It's the previous spec as the ST line has replaced it.
We had privacy glass and spare wheel as options. We paid £485 up front, £299 admin fee and pay £162 a month for 15k mileage allowance per year, 3.3p per extra mile. 36 month lease.
We approached a few Ford dealers and they were quoting around £170 a month with cruise control added, that was with 15-18k mileage allowances.
So I would say this price is around the price you would expect to pay. Is there any admin fee?
Also, the car itself is lovely to drive. Really grips the road and plenty of power. Perhaps the dash is a little fussy. Really smooth ride as well. MPG wise we get around 35mpg around town and 50-55 on a run.

IIIRC the outgoing black edition is 140bhp, this is 100, so yours is 9.0 seconds 0-62, this is 11.2 seconds. I reckon that would feel a lot slower.
Not a great deal for me this, but if it's the car you want it's a decent way of getting it unless it's abailable at discounts for pcp.
I'd give preference to the 140 variant of the 1.0 engine variant over this, but I admittedly havent tried this engine.
Edit: the current models grip is amazing, I don't know how they've made a 1.0 hatchback into such a fun and engaging car.

Funny you should use that example. I'm now on my fourth in 11 years, and apart from routine wear and tear and servicing, the only 'fault' I've ever had was on the first one, when the alternator went. Over 11 years and4 cars, I've done about 200-300,000 miles.
Impeccable cars IMO. In fact, my brother in law is still driving my second, now on 190k and still going.

From a family of 7, almost every car we have bought has been a ford. (Fiesta/focus). Sad I know. We must have bought around 15 in total over the years (new and secondhand) and can't remember any of they having any problems. Currently own the ST and loving it.

We're the same. Lost count of how many Fords my immediate family have had in the last decade. I personally own 3 cars, 2 of them are Fords (Mondeo and StreetKA) and had a Focus before that. My parents have an S-Max and a Focus Zetec-S and so does the Wife.
Not one of them has had any major issues, Ford has been the most reliable car brand we've had.

For those of you showing various deals through Ford dealers be warned: I've been into two Ford dealers recently as they were advertising a 140 st line for £179 a month with one month as deposit. Went into Ford Thanet Saturday just gone, they said 'Ford advertise these deals but they are usually gone straight away' hence the deal isn't available anymore, the other dealer said that too. Then quoted me £2,700 deposit then £256 a month for the same car, so I told them it's false advertising! Went and got a 65 plate Audi A1 for same deposit but £150 a month.
Heat for this deal, just saying to the others don't believe every deal you see from a main Ford dealer as they don't actually exist!!

But they do 3 versions of this 1.0 engine, 100/125/140 with 0-62 times of 11.2/9.4/9.0. Is yours the 100? I can't imaginge 0-62 feeling nippy in the 100, yes the in gear acceleration maybe okay but to me that's slow from start.
