Very good price. We already S&S on this and IAMS senior dried food for our two.
This or the whiskers pouches? I'm not a cat owner but I'm building a box of supplies for a local rescue so help would be appreciated. Do cats know the difference?

This is much better quality than whiskers.

I recently bought a kitten and have been doing crazy research finding the best food for my kitten. Every pet forum I have come across mention whiskers and felix is the worst cat food to feed with only 4% meat?
I am currently feeding him petsathome own brand 'purely' which is working out rather expensive. Should I switch to low quality food like felix?

If you think Felix is 'low' quality compared to [email protected] own brand then I can't tell you anything.

My cats who are now about 4 years old have had Felix since they were kittens. Hasn't done them any harm. They are always desperate to eat it come feeding time.

Why can't you tell me anything? Felix = 4% meat vs Purely = 50% meat

I spoke to a few friends and they are all feeding Felix and Whiskas without any problems. Really put off with Whiskas and Felix though after reading up about on pets forum. Will switch to Felix then and see how it goes.

Won't harm your kitten trying them anyway, it may be that they personally don't like it for whatever reason. Only advice we were given was to stay away from food in gravy as it gave them dodgy stomachs but I think that may have been specific advice for our kittens at the time.

I feed felix with cut up 100% chicken breast mixed in twice a day with James well beloved crunchies on offer all day. Their coats are shiny, teeth healthy and vet says for their age they are in remarkable health. Oldest is 14 and plays at least every other day for 1-2 hours like a kitten. Is it the cheapest meal with the chicken, no. But averages around £30 a week for 3 cats.

Cats require a 70% meat content, this is like feeding your kids mcdonalds 24/7
