Was looking on amazon for some supplies for a course i'm doing... and then saw this...

These are just rebadged generic Chinese cutters

Same one for £7.19 without fatmax stamped on it

Yes I have a pair identical to this from screwfix, they are all the same these days and all made in China you just pay for the branding.

I use a similar tool all day every day and wouldn't have any other type of wire stripper/cutter and at that price it's a bargain

It's a depth stop - you can use it to set the amount of wire that's stripped, though I've never used it on my CK wire stripper

Brought this was disappointed it could not be used on three core 12mm wide cable, works on 11 and smaller, seems like a drawback to me for general electrical use unless you are constantly using flat wires

Would suggest that 12mm cable is mainly used by a pro - perhaps spending a little more than £11 would be appropriate for that sort of use?

Just received this one from ebay for £6.95. Looks identical. Stripped a few wires and it seems pretty good.
