Thanks. Just ordered PS4 version. Was debating whether to go PS4 or Xbox. After reading up it, essentially, breaks down to this: PS4 has slightly washed out colours in some scenes compared to the Xbox but suffers less frame rate issues. I chose to go with the version that stutters less.

Both now support mods, and the Xbox is more flexible with the mods it has available. The Xbox version also comes with a code to download Fallout 3 (Xbox 360 backward compatible with Xbox One).
Great game, completed on PC then played through again on PS4 for my only platinum trophy :smiley:

I had fallout before but it played too much like skyrim in the sense of that I was playing it and ducking thinking there was a dragon... obviously there wasn't cause it's fallout not skyrim which put me off fallout. shame.

Hi, don't know much about this game, does it have a lengthy story mode? Would like something to last a while, and what do the steel book and postcard add? is there any DLC as such

You'll get plenty of hours worth of game play. I've had it almost a year, took a slight detour from quests and haven't stopped settlement building since.
There are a few dlcs available, but not included with this and many mods to enhance game play such as "unlock settlement objects, water redux, weather redux, simplegreen" to name a few.
Steelbook values usually sell for a lot more if in mint condition within a few years time, so that extra £2 could turn into something extra. Doubt it'll be that much but money is money.

The format of the game may take a little getting used to, it's a vast game with plenty to do, my first was Fallout 3 and I couldn't believe the size of the game.
There's some great side stories in the game. but it'll take a little while to reach the good ones. You'll also find yourself en route to a mission and end up getting distracted along the way with side missions, things to kill and weapons to find.
