No BS. The game was only £7.99 anyway (5.99 after discount promo), so maybe they thought it just wasn't viable to go through the whole returns process. Also, if they resell it, chances are the same things gonna happen again.

I call BS lol! From my experiences Argos ebay are the biggest bunch of crooks on the planet.... Sell rubbish and one month after the warranty is up the product breaks and after months of negotiating, no assistance!
In all seriousness congrats for the outcome being positive for you.. I just hate them..

Bought an Xbox One game, turned up opened and in pretty poor condition. Called Argos customer services and they said it's because its a 'clearance item'. Cant even return it to a local store.
