This looks like a good deal for the price, and bump up from the Epson XP-335 that's also on HUK for the same price. I've been looking for a good multifunction that's Google cloud print/Airprint ready, and is compatible with cheap inks.
Seems to be £34.99 delivered which is awesome sauce. Edit: Online only, doesn't seem to be instore.

Does this printer come with ink, or do you have to add it to the basket separately?

Every printer that I have ever bought always comes with ink.Sometimes the carts supplied are only partially full.
It is doubtful though that they come with a cable, if you need one. I set my Epson up wireless via my router.

The secret with Epson printers is DON'T upgrade them. The upgrade process is when the inablility to use compatable ink is done. DON'T upgrade them

They have a serious problem with Macs unless you upgrade the firmware

Ditto, been a great printer. Just asks you if you would like to continue when it detects non original inks.
Most likely fine. The point is the previous model to this, the ink is around £2 a set, so better to buy older model if you can get hold of one. As other posters have said, compatible ink should come down in price over time.

Hopefully! My 325 does get some serious use from the kids and no complaints yet.

Some customer reviews do note that this will not except compatible inks and won't print at all if it's out of any 1 colour.
As for prices of compatible, there are loads on ebay around £10 as had already been said.
The cheapest 4 pack seems to be £9.20, but this one also has 'Make An Offer'

Just done some research and the compatible inks are about 5 times the price of those for my xp325, yet the capacity is the same! Shame, would be red hot deal otherwise.

Just checked on eBay and the ink on there are around a tenner. Are these no good?

^^^ Yeah I agree. Not sure what happened after the XP-325 gen of printers as the price of the compatibles became very expensive for the same capacity of ink, whilst the next range of printers didn't seem to offer any benefits.
I just hope my XP-325 keeps going, it does grind a little when the paper is being drawn into the printer at the start but otherwise it is fine to use.
The 325 was replaced by the Epson Expression Home XP-342 and those inks are still expensive.
As noted it might be time before the ink becomes cheaper, hopefully my 325 will grind away until then...!

From my experience, the compatible inks WILL come down drastically in price once models are discontinued and replaced with newer models. I've had a few Epson printers over the years and this always seems to be the pattern. Give it 6-9 months and the compatible inks should be much cheaper as newer model printers come out.
I've currently got a WF-7015 and I can get 5 sets of compatible XL inks for around £10! They work flawlessly.

I have noticed that the newer XP printers aren't that cheap for compatible inks.
I bought the XP-325 last year, IIRC around £25 from eBuyer, and those inks are ridiculously cheap, and have been excellent.
The printer has also been great, from Android tablets or phones as well as wireless from a PC.
Sadly it doesn't seem to be around anymore to buy.
I find it useful searching for the inks before I buy the printer...!

Compatible inks are not all the cheap, just cheaper than the originals. All the new xp range models take the same ink and you can get compatible ones in eBay for £10 for a set. As a comparison, I bought an Epson WF-2630 for £50 in the summer and I can get 4 sets of inks for under a tenner.

Thank you. My concern is that some Epson printers refuse compatible inks following software updates.
If I decide to get this I hope that doesn't happen.
