Totally agree, at first I suspected TCB because they didn't charge an annual fee, but they would not pay out on large sums and then say "their hands are tied and it's with the merchant".... and then disappear into infinity.
Now Quidco are at it, they pretend to pursue claims, yet never have a resolution. I'm willing to bet that despite us not getting any cashback due to merchant tracking issues, Quidco WILL pursue their own cut.... I bet they're all having a laugh in Quidco HQ and preparing for a massive Xmas Quidco bash on our declined transactions...
We need transparency and not on their word, which means nothing.

So £18.80 cash back on a £50 spend at Tesco (for new Tesco customers)? Seems like a good deal.

A qualifying purchase requires the member to opt in and make a cashback earning purchase through the Quidco site, via the specified retailer pages, by 23:59pm on 4 December 2016."
Then from the general T&Cs:
"Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or discount code unless listed on this page, or with any other discounts such as staff or student discounts."
So I'd go with no, you can't. By using the voucher you won't earn cashback on the purchase. If you don't earn cashback on the purchase, you won't get the £10 bonus.

Just be aware that Quidco are being quite underhand with these deals.
They deliberately leave out vital details when unleashing a deal, only for it to have clauses in the T&Cs...
Like ex Vat before you qualify and also I noticed this...
4.Quidco holds a list of account holders eligible for this promotion. Ineligible account holders will not receive communications regarding the promotion from Quidco and will not be entitled to receive the £10 bonus.
So if you just clicked on this deal and expected cashback and didn't get an invite/email, you won't get the cashback.
Quidco know people will click on the link and buy, so they win out. If Quidco had any common sense, they would have included an eligibility checker in the deal link, but they'd happily overlook that for greed...
Quidco, i'm onto u

Okay this issue really needs to be addressed. Its been brought up before, I've asked a quidco rep to answer it, but even though they read and comment on these threads they never mention it.
If they condone these HUKD posts where you can click through to a quidco page and 'activate' the offer while logged in, surely you don't need to be invited by email? I suggest boycotting till we get a clear answer. Making store-specific purchases without using coupon codes just increases the cost of these items.

It's not clear whether it just has to be on food or new customer and of course they may not deliver a few items which means you need to be well over that £60. Too time consuming and possibly won't pay off means a no from me.

Quidco cashback is never guaranteed.
Reason: They will generally not pay larger claims and simply trouser the cash themselves. Just check out their accounts on Companies House - they make literally MILLIONS of pounds in profit, despite (apparently) paying out 100% of cashback to members. The numbers simply don't add up.
It's about time the Government launched an enquiry into Quidco & TCB and insisted they were independently audited.

It doesn't actually matter whether you buy food that has VAT on it or not.
What matters is if the merchant reports your spending including VAT (most do this) or without VAT.
When I've gone through Quidco before for Tesco, they report including VAT, so a £50 spend will show as a £50 spend on your activity history. Not sure about the others though...

£3m profit for last year. There is always going to be a difference between the money that they receive from retailers and the that which they pay out to account holders. I don't think I have ever seen a claim that they return 100% of cashback to members and can't see that they would have a business if they did.
That said, there does seem to be an increase of purchases failing to track.

Well heck, I must be in the minority then as two large payments that tracked quite happily have been refused. I have claimed again, been on chat, claimed again, double checked all the details and they still refused. After having said that, the majority that do get declined do eventually pay out (quite often at a reduced rate mind you!), but I am now very very cautious about factoring in the quidco value when making a decision about going for one supplier or another based solely on cashback. TopCashBack seem more helpful when this happens.

So I guess I qualify anyway.. Just cause they said that I did.! I hope.
If they condone these HUKD posts where you can click through to a quidco page and 'activate' the offer while logged in, surely you don't need to be invited by email? I suggest boycotting till we get a clear answer. Making store-specific purchases without using coupon codes just increases the cost of these items.
The not entering into correspondence is standard t&cs it doesn't mean they won't speak to you, it's just one of the things you always include.
Personally I think there is more chance finding a tenner on the street, so you're best returning your purchase.
If no then you won't get the bonus.
If yes then you might, depending on the resolution to the confusing wording of the T&Cs and the deal's appearance on the Quidco homepage.
I can't find such info on their website...
got message you have qualified.
And when you click Opt-in box you get: Great news! You've qualified for your £10 cashback bonus
Offer activated! Nice work, you're part of an exclusive group.
Underhand tactic IMHO
What matters is if the merchant reports your spending including VAT (most do this) or without VAT.
When I've gone through Quidco before for Tesco, they report including VAT, so a £50 spend will show as a £50 spend on your activity history. Not sure about the others though...
You just need to have opted in and can do so via the link on the website or via an emailed link.
Specifically: "Participation is by eligible account holders making a cashback qualifying purchase at either Asda, Tesco, Marks & Spencer Christmas Food to Order, Waitrose, Morrisons or Iceland, and opting in via email link or link on homepage, http://www.quidco.com/incentives/grocery-ten-bonus."
That said, there does seem to be an increase of purchases failing to track.
Confusing T's and C's.
We're really sorry, you're not eligible for this offer
Now Quidco are at it, they pretend to pursue claims, yet never have a resolution. I'm willing to bet that despite us not getting any cashback due to merchant tracking issues, Quidco WILL pursue their own cut.... I bet they're all having a laugh in Quidco HQ and preparing for a massive Xmas Quidco bash on our declined transactions...
We need transparency and not on their word, which means nothing.
Ahh well prob wouldn't have got this anyway.
