Wish EA Access was available for PS4. Apparently Sony argues that it didn't represent good enough value for gamers but I don't think anyone can argue with £17 for heaps of games...

Yep that is.
EA Access is just a subscription service to access the older back catalog.
You still need xbox live to play them online - just as you would if you owned physical copies of the game.

You just need to buy the game and have PS Plus if you want to go online. Sadly it's not on sale at the moment, but has been under £4 recently from the PS Store. Surely it will drop again, might be worth waiting.

I'm new to Xbox and have been a bit confused between Xbox Live and EA access.
Coming from PS4 where I've just had PS+ subscription.
Is EA Access just like PS+ but obviously only for EA titles? Where does Xbox Live fit in with this?

you and me both, i bought the kids a xbox one and got a 14day trial of EA access and have downloaded a few games from there over the last couple of days. Titanfall is good.. ive sent more time on it than the kids lol. havent really got to grips with the store yet

I was exactly the same as you but I believe I'm right in saying, you can download and play any of the games with EA Access and play them offline, but you need Xbox Live to play them online as a multiplayer (Titanfall is online only)

Yeah, I own the mass majority to be honest. I think (iirc) that I actually only signed up to EA Access for the Plants Vs Zombies 2 addition for the boy, because I refused to buy him it :smile:

I bought Battlefront about 6 weeks before it was added. Then it was added, then I bought the Complete Edition. I think that best sums up EA Access :smile:

Heat as it's cheaper than elsewhere. Unless you want to play the whole list I would have thought you'd be better off cherry picking the ones you want in sales? 17 quid buys you a lot of PC games these days :smiley:
