Don't do it! Tesco vs cognac for £3 more is, imho, vastly superior. This is ok as a mixer.

I bought a bottle a couple of Christmases ago. Very sickly, cloying, synthetic taste. OK for setting fire to on your Xmas pud, but I wouldn't want to drink it again.

Well I got my bottle. Just got back from the footie and needed a very stiff drink! E&J is a discovery. An American brandy. Nice and smooth. XO Stock is probably nicer and Courvoisier VSOP very nice. But nothing beats this at £13 a bottle. Just off for a refill...

Never tried yankee brandy before and not too tempted to try when Martell VS is on offer at Asda for £20 a bottle

Very wise. Even wiser is to understand this post is for brandy not cognac. And for a bargain price! :smile:
