Went into our local The Original Factory Shop yesterday in Mexborough and was offered this deal at the counter. Seems like a good price to me for good quality batteries. Not sure if this is local only but worth a look nationwide if you need some.

If these were the high power, ones I would a deal. But they look like the standard batteries.

Equivalent to £1.50 for a 4-pack. Decent value if you happen to be at this store; otherwise, not worth a special journey. IIRC, 8 packs are normally £2.99 at Home Bargains. Or the Lidl own label are well-rated by Which? and are just £1.99 for 8.
