Just saw DOOM for the insane price of £14 in Tesco Chester. Seems to be countrywide. Incredible campaign!

I was cynical as I loved the originals as well, and remakes seem to be a bit hit-and-miss. Multiplayer is ok, but the campaign is superb. It retains the fast-paced, chaotic nature of the original. So enjoyable. At the prices it is now, I might get it again :smile:

It's a bit of a love letter to original doom, lots of "in" jokes and Easter eggs that a new player might just gloss over.
I bought the game UAC pack last week but it's yet to arrive, game being unusually slow with delivery.

Ooh okay, nice one. I'm still gutted I didn't post this one - saw it in there on Black Friday and just assumed the usual gang had posted about it a week before it happened. Can't be long before this is £10, surely. The DLC hardly seems to add much to the single player anyway - couple of guns and skins, ooooh. Think I'll live with the base game. :smirk:

Decent game and you can't go wrong at this price, I got mine from Argos last week for £15 and that price is till available, so if you don't want to wait or haggle for a pound off just walk in and grab a copy on PS4 and XO.

Finally got round to playing it and love the campaign so far but bloody hell it's fast or I'm getting too old lol, just picked up the chainsaw and wow!!! Certainly come along way since I played the original way back when :smiley:

It's crazy right? I never played the originals, but it kind of reminds me of old school Wolfenstein. Make sure to look out for the secret levers in each level, as they open doors to let you in to the old DOOM maps. It's weird as hell, but a great easter egg for the die hard fans.

Found 2 secrets so far but I'm sure we've missed a few :smiley: I played doom for the 1st time on an Atari jaguar believe it or not lol which must of been over 20 years ago :smiley:
