To be fair phone looks aight for the price, but theres the xiaomi redmi 3s band 20 going for £108 and that IMO is a much better phone overall minus the ram and storage a bit. I would defo choose the Xiaomi over this as its been used alot more times and has very good feedback.

This one just arrived today. The screen becomes unbelievably unresponsive if you don't reboot often. Anything I'm doing wrong? Definitively looks like a software problem.
Didn't find anything obvious (rom) to flash on the internet.
Input appreciated!

Thanks Jack. Seems like most of them are that way. Have 2 sims but also want to have a micro sd card slot
that my blackview crown has got. This phone would be perfect. Appreciate your post. Thanks :sunglasses:

Hi
Just messing around with this phone now, there is only one tray it seems you can either have 2 sims or one sim and one micro SD card but not all three at the same time.

Even the author of that sponsored advertorial review with affiliate link to order one, only gave it 3/5.

He doesn't really seem consistent with his reviews. But he did give a £212 phone 4 stars and the doogee £138 (according to him) got a 3 star, his other reviews don't even have scores.
My tracking number just says it's origin is in "Seychelles". no further updates.

so many bargain Chinese phones to choose from. The Ulefone Gemini looks good, due end of Jan.

Well I ordered one for my wife who's just cracked her current phone's screen.. again. Only a month after I fitted the replacement screen. So I'm giving up on that one. Didn't want to buy her another phone that's overly expensive. So I'll see has this goes.
Also just ordered a case and screen protector, and just noticed it already comes with some.
Doogee has viruses in the firmware. Did anyone scan this phone with anti virus?

Had an F5 pro and it was faulty.
It would have phantom screen touches. The only way to sort it was to hit the affected corner until it stopped.
The screen wasn't very good either it was like there was delamination, or condensation under the screen.

The screens on Doogee phones are absolutely terrible in my opinion, I dunno how some people can't see the difference.
They almost feel a bit like the old resistive screens, they don't register the contact properly to be able to type at the same speed as other phones I find.
Not used this particular phone myself but would obviously feel like a massive gamble buying it.

Aaah now starting to see the comments about Doogee phones coming through. So many on HUKD have been suckers for the Cores x RAM x MP x P = great phone. You can get bargains for sure but you need to be sensible. One thing to apply as a rule is to never pay over £100 for a phone with a MediaTek processor.

Most of the specs look pretty good but at this price on a pre-order you'd want a Helio P10 SoC at minimum

This has a 720p screen yes?
That seems more of a deal breaker to me than no NFC.

NFC seems really unimportant to many Chinese market manufacturers. It's rare.
My next phone will definitely have NFC so I'm not looking to upgrade for the moment.
Also... Are we that far away from some daydream compatible hardware from these kind of companies?

Sorry, I won't buy any Doogee phone anymore. Worst firmware support experience so far. MTK6750 is pretty old chipset with 28nm process.

Very common now to see phones of this spec around this price point. Not a bad price if you're after something like this but it has the performance of a very average mid range phone. IMO it's worth spending a little bit extra and getting something with a UK backed warranty, and enough support to ensure you get security and software updates.
Just had a look at that seems a lot of phone for the money. Tempted to get one to see how I cope with the screen size and to use as a sat nav

Well if it doesn't have band 20 then its pretty useless for 02, giffgaff and tesco. No problem with Chinese phones just wish they had band 20 so I could use them.
