I feel i am pretty on top of new games coming out, though i have not heard about this till i was looking on amazon, and it was suggested by amazon as someone else bought this in combination. Now as a kid i loved Digimon world on the PS1, and really didn't like that ever following digimon game went away from taking care and training digimon to just fighting and more fighting and always hated that they never made a sequal to the first digimon game for the PS1.
Apparently a lot of other people also loved the original digimon game and they made an officel sequel (on ps vita a japan excuslive) and its coming to PS4 next year western release (they just mist two generation of consoles but oke). I dought alot of people have heard about this game, but i can imagine alot of people having fond memories of the old game. So i though i share this information and the deal as i looked around and found this the cheapest price simplygames.com its about 13 pounds under what amazon is asking.
First time I'll be preordering on simplygames, looking at their FAQ for when payment is taken. Says since this game is more than 28 days away from release they'll take the payment 21 days after my order.
Can anyone confirm this or will it just be taken when it's dispatched?

What you said is correct. What you tend to get with Simply Games is that the game will arrive early. Every single pre-order I've ever done with them has come at least one day before release.
I've clearly opened up right to reply from people who've had delivery horror stories with Simply Games there, but I can't fault them. My pre-order choice every time.

That is the case and I can't complain about them at all except for when they forgot to send me a Day One edition of a game but offered a £3 refund for the small DLC item. When I ordered Final Fantasy XV from them it arrived five days earlier.

I loved the original game as well, never finished it and could never get a mega evolution after the first one i got when i started the game :P. I would pay full price for remaster of the original and i think many others would do to. But already glade they actually made a sequel

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Loved the original Digimon World and hadn't heard of this. Won't be ordering through Simply Games as they messed up my (and many others) World of Final Fantasy Day One order by sending the regular version when they couldn't get Day One without saying anything, then deleting all references to it, contesting reviews on Trustpilot, etc.

we should definitely go back and beat it. i presume itll be just as good at the end as at the beginning. im tempted to but the brutal difficulty spike is a nightmare. yeah me too

What kind of game is it? standard JRPG?

It has the original game elements like train, evolve, feed and take care of digimon and i think the fighting system from the newer games so the fights are more like standard JRPG however i am not sure might want to check out some youtube videos as its was already released on vita in japan in march of this year if i am not mistaken.

I tried an emulator version some time ago probably about 6 years ago which was great, i got further than any play through i did on the original ps1, i still have the game just not the ps1 anymore haha :P. But the game was definitly difficult but i used a guide in the begin just to get going but there is so much to unlock and do i never realised that when i was playing as a kid :P. It still is amazing game and was actually planning to try it again some time in the future once i have time ever :stuck_out_tongue:, which prob wont be for the next few years haha :P

No mega evolutions in the original besides HerculesKabuterimon & Phoenixmon who were considered Ultimates back then - the mega level wasn't invented when the game was made . You just need a digivolution guide adn the game is really fun.

Then you been lucky, I'll never use them again for not sending me day 1 edition. Then tell me it's suppliers fault. Why they not tell me and I could have gone elsewhere. They also put on pre order special price at you can't believe price as bait and cancel the order to say no more stock left, but then have it in stock at the higher price. Check their trust pilot

really want this game, I hope it gets cheaper on amazon at some point, or another store has it cheap since SG can't be trusted with preorders.

I've been following this game for a while now. Can't wait for it to come out but it's sad it's coming out a day before Tales of Beseria. Terrible planning from Bamco.
I will probs buy from Amazon later because around a week before launch the price usually drops and then I get another £2 off making it the cheapest. This is assuming I have money after ToB.
With regards to gameplay, it appears to be more of a management style gameplay, like your two digimon fight and you give commands such as skill/digivolve to affect what their next moves may be. It's not like Cyber Sleuth from what I get from the trailer. I have been avoiding Japanese gameplay to avoid spoilers.

That's what I was trying to work out, how it compared to Cyber Sleuth. I has a feeling it would be different but was wondering just how much! Still might be worth a punt!

Just so all of you know it's nothing similar to Cyber Sleuth. It's another kind of game.

Warp digivolution wasn't in the original but they did put a mega or two in as Ultimate level digimon since Mega level had not been revealed yet.

might have to dig out the ps1 and fire it up and actually beat it. like 15 year later haha. Defo will use a guide if i do, got a feeling if i start again im gonna sink a lot of hours into it. Worth it though
