I've bought these for my wife and son - my wife's been using hers for a year with no problems. Has to be the cheapest 1080p action cam out there if you have Prime, and quite possibly even if you don't.

Looking at all the "free item 5 star reviews" with video footage, it looks pretty bad image quality wise. For £12.99 you can't complain all that much.

I think dreadful is a bit of an exaggeration. It's a bit slow to change from dark to light but the video is perfectly acceptable. It's not as good as my sj4000 but my sj4000 wasn't 12.99 I have two of these and the wifi version as well they all perform adequately.

Purchased this start of the week I paid 16 pounds on prime, used it yesterday am impressed for the price it's excellent. even on my 65inch 4k TV I played it back via the fire TV box from the micro SD card and it was spot on, only down side was when it zoomed in bitty around the edges battery lasted over a hour.

I think my wife gets about an hour from a charge. I don't think she's ever measured, just plugs in as soon as she gets off her Vespa. But she manages a there and back journey to work so about an hour.
