C'mon the game is £12 on consoles, I can't imagine paying more for the PC version. No resale value, box etc. This game has stuck on a high price since it came out kinda like GTA

Yeah it may be worth holding on to see what discount it'll have on steam, but definitely a good price regardless!

I never got into the series. I gave the first one a go but the controls with kb+m were atrocious (even with the unofficial patch). Question is will I be losing much by jumping straight in (III) here ?

Not really . All the ds games work pretty well as stand alone experiences . Although you really should get a pad to play any of them as they as designed to be played with a pad . And definatly go back to the first as it is an excellent game with a few technical problems but sooo good , just not with keyboard and mouse
