Quidco have went from being an honest company to blatantly conning people! my last three purchases have all been refused even though i followed the instructions to the letter. Blatant con artists i'm afraid (cost me over £150 in its cashback con AVOID) Never had any problems with topcashback

it's balls I bought a tablet via quidco and it tracked but for incorrect amount (not even exc vat) and filed a claim, got told it tracks lower but will be correct later, then of cos it didn't correct itself and eventually got declined. filed a claim again with quidco, got told sorry Curry's declined and there's nothing further they can do.

Have you not read the previous posts in this thread? Sounds like many didn't get their cashback tracked properly or got declined by Currys.
Am tempted to use this and pickup a TV from Currys. However, I am still waiting for the £10 bonus from earlier deals. So will pass until I see at least one such cashback offers being fulfilled. So neither voting HOT nor COLD
For the adventurous types, you got to be in it, to win it...

Careful with Curry's... I bought a Samsung 65" TV from them that arrived faulty (huge blue line down it when powered on) and it has taken them a full month to give me a refund... Definitely won't be buying from them again for something that big & expensive...

I spent £3800 during a 10% Quidco offer but the cash back only tracked at 1% and still hasn't been confirmed, I'm not holding out much hope for the £380.

Thanks for the tip. Was considering getting the TV woth their 7 pound care plan. Did you have that as well?

Remember it is tracked excluding vat price.

9% at Topcashback (for orders over £249), not as much I know but I find them a lot more reliable and that's still decent.
(heat added for this deal anyway)

Can't say I've had the greatest experiencee with Quidco for some of my bigger purchases. Wanted to buy a TV but am not having second thoughts about Quidco. Might go through TCB and get them to match the offer. Might be a better bet.

Several weeks on and mine hasn't been uplifted either.
Cash back is a bonus and is never guaranteed, however with this and the Argos deal I think a lot of people are forgetting (with good reason) and may have been lured into spending money they otherwise wouldn't have.
Hopefully this post will act as a handy reminder - if only to myself!

I've lost faith in Quidco tracking, seems to be very hit and miss. I always start my browser fresh and click through the Quidco links but too many excuses for not tracking. Good if you can afford to not rely on the cash back.

In my experience TCB is more reliable at tracking than Quidco.. I've lost count how many tickets I've raised with Quidco CS, it's only been the last few years.. Tracked almost all the time back when it started..

Thank op but my experience of the quidco/Currys combination is that they very rarely pay out. I have had loads turned down for no reason. Not voting either way.

Not used Quidco since they diddled 50 odd quid on a phone upgrade couple years ago, They told me that the money had been claimed, Not by me I said, So someone somewhere has just happened to of had my 50 quid put into there account and you don't give a monkeys, No.
Would rather pay the 11% than let them thieving toerags get anywhere near it or have any part of it.

Shame the hob I want to get costs 25% more in Currys than in any other shop...

I didn't have that, but as the TV had the fault as soon as it was delivered, they should have collected it next-day. In the end they had me waiting for more than a week for them to collect. And almost 5 weeks after they took it back, and at least 8 calls later, I finally have my money back in my account. Definitely not a good experience for me!

With so many negative stories, its surprising that the deal has received sp much heat. I will do my bit to warn others by cold now.
Someone said earloer that cashback is not a guarantee but a bonus. So why are mods are allowing this post in deals section?

Every time I try and claim cash back from Currys, via Quidco, it ends up being declined and I have to go through the pain of raising a claim. Honestly, its really not worth the hassle!

Haven't used Curry's for years. Shocking customer service and everything in their sales is a generation or two behind the latest models, televisions especially. If you really want to buy tech then look at Richer Sounds or Superfi. White goods, I have never had a problem with co-op electrical.

it's not all purchases... there are other rates on the quidco site that supersede this offer. I asked for clarification as it says 11% for all purchases, but underneath it says 3.3% for Range Cookers. quidco confirmed I'd get 3.3% on a £969 Range Cooker!

What an absolute con, Quidco misleading people as usual. It states "11% for ALL sales over £249", not "all sales except those where other rates apply", and all the other rates seem to cover pretty much everything.

Tempted to go for a TV, the SONY BRAVIA KD55XD9305. Seems to be reduced to £1,299 most places (Richer Sounds, John Lewis, Sevenoaks). This quidco deal is would take almost £150 off the price. On paper, the free 5 year guarantee currys offer seems the same as JL and Richer Sounds (except Richer sounds is a year extra).
Anybody have any views on the currys guarantee? Is it comparable to RS/JL?
Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance

Quidco tracking of currys purchases is rubbish. Mine tracked wrong and I was told it was vat had been deducted. I replied saying vat on a £300 sale was not £110, which had been deducted, plus the 2.2% cashback had tracked at 1%. Ive been told to wait for it to confirm, then complain again if its wrong. From what im reading in this post I recon we are being conned as its happening to too many people to be coincidental.

They will not get another penny of my cash.

This is what really **** me off, yes we all know this is the case but why should it be, why do we find that acceptable. They advertise a cahsback offer, as long as we follow the terms of that offer we should get the cashback without fail.

Oh, one more thing to add, made a purchase from currys earlier using topcashback and that's successfully tracked at 9%.

Just seen that topcashback will match it retrospectively (with a small bonus) if you go through them. Think I'll do that
