Bought the same tap on offer from Screwfix last year, it's superb.
Like any kitchen tap, it may be tricky to fit.
All taps with a hose extension MUST have a one-way valve fitted on the hot and cold pipes going into the trap. If you have isolators, just connect the one-way valves to those, then the flexi pipes/tails to them. Easy.
The reason is, just like outdoor taps, if the hose is immersed in water and there is negative pressure (such as a water pipe leak in the street), without the one-way valve, dirty water may be drawn into the system.
All hose taps have longer fittings under the sink, so sometimes you need to awkwardly remove sections of you cabinet backboard if there's not enough clearance.
Took me 3 hours to fit as a general DIYer.

If the hose is damaged is it possible to replace it or do you need a new tap unit?
Skyhiigh to Gollywood
18 Dec 16#32
You can replace the hose in theory as it just goes through the tap spout and connects to the main tap body underneath, but I'm not sure if you can buy them separately.

you going for a world (hukd) record, of how many times you can post the same stupid gif in the one day. seems like every time I look at a deal today its there. its bad enough having to look at a deal posted by the usual serial (uselessly irrelevant) gif posters. they are usually posting a serious of different ones, but to look at the same one over and over is kind of sad.

Any plumbers know why? A review says it took a plumber 2 1/2 hrs to fit?
'Pull out taps must not be directly connected to drinking water supplies without appropriate backflow protection. Please consult your plumber or local water supplier for advice on your specific system. To comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Byelaws in Scotland), and to keep your water supply healthy, please be aware that significant alteration of your plumbing system may be required'

Overkill... imo.
Backflow regs...
Just smack it onto your pipe (compression joint) and attach your tap hose to the other end. No read regs but would assume has to be on rigid and not flexi at point of contact.
£5 each and they'll never be used - but b and q have to state it to comply with regs - probably why theyve sold so few as people are put off.
Took a plumber 2.5 hours?? I'll wager he was on an hourly rate... or had some serious messing about to do with the back of a cupboard.
If it took half an hour i'd be shocked and a little upset with myself.
For what its worth... ordered.

I only came across this by accident whilst looking for some bathroom accessories. Didn't need it myself but thought it'd be worth posting.
There are other bits & pieces reduced so might be worth a detailed scan of the site.
Good luck
