Cheaper than before. Low spec but it must be good for something.

I wonder if it comes with Office 365 like the old Linx tablets did? That'll make the value even better

Anyone got any idea if/how well these would stream from an Xbox One? Doesn't need to be lag-less, was thinking of using it to simulate/farm Pes matches when away from home.

For mobile it's a bit of a pain, compared to Android, I agree.

if it comes with Windows 10, it does not come with the year O365. That offer was only with Windows 8.1 tabs, which was the OS the Linx 7/8/10 originally shipped with

Alternatively you could consider a Windows/Android dual boot tablet. Another £10 and you can pick up similar specs with the dual boot options from places like DX.com or Gearbest. Best advantage I see is that you can try Windows on it, if not you can go back to Android and never swap back.

Is this model known by anything else in the international markets? I'm trying to find a review.

This is effectively the same tablet as the Linx 810 (which is the Windows 10 version of the Linx 8 ). Similar to the Linx 7 and 710, but with less RAM and slightly fewer ports than the Linx 10, which sometimes has 2GB of RAM.

Errr no it isn't, the overall hardware may be the same ie the model of processor, amount of RAM and so on. But the question was specifically if this model is known as something else in another market ie is it a rebranded model like you get with some low end Panasonic or Sharp TVs which actually are rebranded Vestel TVs. What's known in the car world as badge engineering.
There's a lot more goes on inside a device like this that can make a lot of difference in the performance and usefulness of a device.

I suspect (but have no proof) they are rebrands, with slight differences/updates.
An example is how similar the Connect 7 is to the Linx 7:
"To TechRadar regulars, the Tesco Connect tablet may well bring with it a sense of deja-vu, mainly because Tesco's latest own-brand tablet is almost a carbon copy of the Linx 7 that I reviewed weeks ago."
And this Linx 8 review mentions similarities too for the 7 inch tablets ("mostly uniform - specs").

It's not the same as the Linx 810 at all. The speaker is in a different location, on the Linx the speakers are on the back, on the Viglen the mono speaker is on the top. The Windows home button is also completely different, on the Linx 810 it's a touch button on the front bezel, on the Viglen Connect 8 it's a push button on the top. They have different touch screens. The Linx 810 has 5 point multi touch, the Viglen Connect 8" has 10 point multitouch. They are also different thickness.
They might look like a similar anonynmous black rectangle design, but they are not the same. The only thing they have in common is they run Windows 10 and have same the amount of RAM and processor.

I'm looking for a couple of Tablets sub £50 for my primary school kids. Spotify, YouTube and Android games nothing too heavy and a bit of homework browsing. Obviously this is Windows and the Fire tabs are not android either. I'm struggling, any advice welcome.

As has already been said, just because something is similar in raw specifications does not make it the same as another device. Many cars share the same engines but you would not compare a VW Passat to a Seat Ibiza as the same car.
Another prime example would be an iphone that is one generation apart from another might look visually the same but it is an entirely different phone under the surface. TechRadar are pretty useless when it comes to actually providing useful detail in their reviews so probably one of the least useful sites to take a comparison from.

Due to the similarities in specs and software, I would suggest that once a case has been applied to these tablets (though they would need different cases to allow for the position of the camera), I think the average user wouldn't notice the difference between these tablets, thus I used the word 'effectively'. People that care about the location of ports, speakers or use the Windows home button (which I don't use in Windows 10) might notice. By contrast, phones from different generations have different capabilities and support dates, and cars can have different engines.
(the Linx 810 does have 10 point multitouch according to this)

Yes, here is the link:

Unfortunately it is lacking the touch driver.
Would someone be kind enough to upload the touch driver's firmware file please?
It is a "SileadTouch.fw" located at "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\".
Believe it or not I haven't been able to get this file from Tesco nor Viglen, nor even from Silead!
