Tempted but I think a divorce would follow if I started playing these again, lol

To be honest folks, this is a waste. Most of the games are buggy with newer windows and graphics cards. I made the mistake of buying it in the past . . . .
I found that quite a few didn't work with Windows 10. Others needed workarounds that are beyond most normal folk. Random game crashes. Generals Zero Hour still laggy (how it was left by developers before the franchise died).

Check the last thread. Mixed reviews, especially Red Alert 2, which I'd smash your pasty on if online still worked.

Great games, really want to get them again. The listing says digital download codes, does anyone know if it's steam or EA or what?

According to feedback on Amazon (where it's available for 7 quid with prime delivery for those with that and are impatient), you need to register and download via Origin provided by EA.
Feedback from some say there are issues with getting some of the titles to work with Windows 10 and other feedback says they had no problem. For a fiver it may be worth a punt.

Big fan of the earlier C&C's and still got original's but If you are after some C&C nostalgia that works on the latest windows without having to mess about, check out 8-bit Armies (recommended by a fellow Hotdealer), quite a few of the original Westwood studios team developed and continue to work on this game.
3 of us had hours of fun playing lan game the other night, worked perfect on Windows 10. http://store.steampowered.com/app/427250/ http://www.8bitarmies.com/

Instead of a disk. You will receive a digital code inside the case and you download it via Origin

A word of warning about C&C Tib Sun and Red Alert - you can STILL play these games online using a fan-made website (cncnet). However, unfortunately, the few people who still play, which is around 40 people, are die-hard loyalists and if you turn up, expecting a nice, fun, pleasant game - be prepared to get abused.
I'm a HUGE fan of Tiberian Sun - I think it's one of the best strategy games ever made. However, I played several games at cncnet and if you're not an elitist who plays every single day and know every single trick in the C&C world, you're going to be verbally abused.
It's a massive shame that a fantastic game has been left with such disgraceful, obnoxious people online, but it has. Either way, voting hot because if you can get a multiplayer game with friends, you'll have a blast.

It may only be 16p but for the 20seconds maximum it takes to click through quidco first. That's a pro-rata rate of £28.80ph

I whole-heartedly recommend OpenRA. It has all the nostalgia of the original Command and Conquer and it simply works (both campaigns and online multiplayer). You can play Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, Dune 2000 and Tiberian Sun will be along soon. OpenRA is constantly being developed (it's even better than the originals) and it is cross platform: whether on Windows, Mac, or any flavour of Linux, it will be a pain-free install. Also, it's FREE! Here is the link: http://www.openra.net/
You can play by yourself, online with people from around the world, or over LAN.
Tiberian Dawn is where the real fight is at - I'm playing that right now!
