I bought this at the Uddingston branch and told it was on till beginning of January. I bought 4 bottles but there was lots still there.

I don't want to post up separate deals- but took pictures of the others Sambucca down from £17.99 to £4.99

Three Barrels VSOP 35cl brandy down from £10.49 to £2.99

Pimms down from £17.49 to £4.99

I actually got this with a further 20% discount as that store had an event from 2 - 6pm 20% off the entire store if you spent over £10. I spent just under £100 and the majority of it was booze which was already heavily discounted. We have a big party every Boxing Day so this is just perfect

Have to say - sambuca is definitely something you can have good and bad of. Try the molinari next time you see it and it's so much nicer. Not sure I could ever go back to the lesser stuff now.... yes, sambuca snob too.

I'm guessing Co-op has just made that particular store manager redundant, and this was their final payback :wink:

PS As someone mentioned, there is something odd going on here as they aren't even covering the duty -et alone their stock purchase price????

I'm not tearing anything to bits, and well done for finding it. I'm purely expressing my complete surprise (and envy, lol) because I can't ever remember seeing a full size 70cl bottle of spirits on normal sale for £3.49 in the 40+ years I've been on this planet.

With drink prices that low, no wonder you Scots are a such a happy bunch :wink:

it's ok was only asking as it's a 20 miles away but would definatley be worth it for these bargains - just wanted to be sensible and make sure this was 100% legit before I make a trip tomorrow that's all. popped in today, none of the white rum left on the shelf but plenty of pimms, sambuca and 3 barrels stuff left. They are at the top of the aisle opposite the whiskies etc.
