T&Cs and Product Exclusions
The Christmas delivery promise applies to Qualifying Items ordered between 10am on Friday 16th December and 10pm on Friday 23rd December 2016 where an expected delivery date up to and including Saturday 24th December 2016 is given. Your expected delivery date will be noted on your confirmation email.
The Christmas delivery promise will be deemed to have been met if, on or before 24th December, a delivery or an attempted delivery is made in accordance with the delivery instructions, or the Qualifying Items are delivered to your chosen Collect+ location. It is your responsibility to check the opening times of your chosen Collect+ location.
If we fail to deliver, or attempt delivery as described above, we will credit you the cost of the applicable items, plus any delivery charge, by your original means of payment. Credits will be made by 31.01.17.
Qualifying Items are any items not excluded from the Christmas delivery promise. The items that are excluded are as follows:
Hatchimals and Retro Ninetendo;
Orders of 3 or more units of the same item;
Any orders placed that are then delayed or cancelled by us for credit account referral or fraud reasons;
Sale and clearance items (identified by a sale or clearance roundel on the product);
Items that require two people to deliver them e.g. furniture, white goods and large TVs;
Personalised gifts;
Orders placed on staff sales accounts;
Orders to geographically remote locations, e.g. offshore islands
Individuals associated with fulfilling Very deliveries
The Christmas delivery promise will not apply to orders which are deemed undeliverable by the expected delivery date due to extreme weather conditions.
The Christmas delivery promise only applies to orders made in good faith.
Shop Direct reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time up to 10pm on Friday 23rd December 2016, subject to honouring the Christmas delivery promise on all pre-existing Qualifying Items.

When I see the words "very" and "promise" in the same sentence I get chills down my spine!
Awful company, woeful customer service and pathetic delivery service.
If you value anything other than price then please shop elsewhere your sanity will thank you in the long run.

Avoid Very like the plague. I'm having an awful customer "service" experience with them from start to finish. Free next day delivery I qualified for wasn't applied, I was charged for shipping, I was promised a call back that never materialised, they've not acknowledged my return, they haven't refunded my item, they're still texting me telling me I need to pay, their chat service agents can't do anything and always end up advising to call, when you call you're on hold for ages, then when you finally get through their staff don't listen to you, don't care and you have to repeat yourself over and over. And I currently have the time to write this because I'm on hold with them on the phone right now.
It is absolutely not worth the discount for being a customer of theirs unless you don't care about customer service, are guaranteed to keep the item when it arrives and know that nothing will go wrong with it. AVOID.

The website itself is enough to put me off ordering anything from them. Such a poor design and very slow.
Ive only ever ordered from them once and that was a dyson last year on which they refused the cashback on it.

haha, no chance the'll deliver to the north of scotland in that time frame. It gets passed thru 2 or 3 couriers minimum to reach my house, challenge accepted. :sunglasses:

Ooooh tempted. I wonder if I order a PlayStation Pro at 21:59 on Friday, I'd be looking at a free item? :man:

NO
The Christmas delivery promise only applies to orders made in good faith.
they would instantly disqualify you on these grounds, unless you could prove you somehow could not press the buy button before 21:59...and the best bit! PS4 are non returnable...
Boom, Very win!

ha ha, teach me to read....but in all seriousness, this offer is so full of caveats I would be amazed if one person managed to get something free....and by that I would expect a couriers van to break down or something externally to happen beyond Very control...... them saying 31/1 is very clever...just outside of returns window
