Someone had posted the bigger version of this item the other day. I had added this to my cart, but did not order. Just found that these prices have dropped now.
Just ordered one.
Considering the other post went hot, I hope someone will find this useful.

Added to my basket couple of days ago when I saw this deal, but wanted to make the order up to 20 quid before ordering and was £1.99 short... waited too long :-( Think I'll wait until it drops back again. Would like one of these, I get field mice into the house in the winter, and it'd be handy for inspecting mousetraps through ceiling downlighters etc... but I don't like it enough to pay £13.99. Thanks anyway OP

Now not sure the diameter is smaller but what the hell for that price who cares! Back up at £13.99 today - OP done good ;-) What shall I inspect first? Oil chamber of my engine. Boring!

Ordered lol. The pipe length and probe diameter is the important bit for me. I opted for the small in the end as the probe diameter was that much smaller, and although the pipe length is half of the medium i shouldn't have a problem for what i need. Thanks op.

Without all the wrong connotations please - any idea what the differences between the small and medium are? Thanks.

You'd use the medium for Jennifer Lawrence,
They're planning on bringing out a 'Kim Kardashian' next year.

A medical professional is going to be far better at looking for cancers etc than you ever will. This equipment does not mean you can give yourself the "all clear" on the cheap for those contemplating such things.

I would have thought it safer to leave it to a trained professional rather than doing it yourself.

Going by my recent experiences with the NHS I'll take my chances with a copy of the Junior Encyclopedia of Anatomy and this cheapo rectal probe.

Thought about one when Im working on my motorcycles, handy to be able to have a look inside the frame etc when working on them.

Oh, that does make sense.
I'm just thinking there's probably little benefit to the average layman shoving this up their rear then rushing off to the Dr because "I saw something bumpy" or "it's kinda purple in there."

A similar device is used by mechanics checking hard to reach places in engines... and i'm pretty sure their version costs more than this item. I can see it being handy to check if a lost items slid down the back of wardrobes/big cupboards and other heavy furniture.

The head is too big for any biological use, but these are useful for inspecting pipes and cables in confined spaces. The problem with these tends to be the light which is normally too dim.

I can think of quite a few non biology related uses for this to be honest with you. For a mechanic I think it'd be pretty handy, also I have a use for such a thing to check electric wires for rodent bites too.

Ideal for missing all those NHS wait lists. Plus it would be great for party games. Like a sort of updated "pin the tail on the donkey" .
